for people asking about the Norbide stick / Boron carbide stick the best place to get this is on ebay... also the diamond grit shown here in the slide show is for 8k or 8000 diamond on copper for pre polishing most stones but especially Sapphire, CZ, YAG, Garnet ect it eliminates any undercutting or orange peel from a 1200-1500 lap and is what I'm showing here on how to properly prep the copper lap for either 8k prepolish or 50k-100k+ for polishing, though the laps surfaces will look different for the pre polish as it will be oilier with crystal lube used as opposed to polish which is very dry with only one drop of WD40 used. here is the link I use for the Boron carbide stick on ebay; www.ebay.com/itm/281069355184?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
