Couple of things I need to note for you guys. This is not my best video, it was rushed and is lower than the standard I usually set myself. That standard may not be very high but it's a standard 😂 Anyway, I usually script the videos and read from that during editing/production, I didn't have time for that this time around and it definitely shows. I'd had a long day at work, travelling to London and back the same day and my brain was running on fumes so I made a few errors in my dialogue. I'll address these properly in the next video, which will have the correct amount of time spent on it. Firstly, my comment about Force = mass x area was incorrect, it's "pressure = force / area". I'll do some animations for the next video when I'm discussing the roll cage. The other thing is lighting, it's shockingly bad inside the car so I'll get a ring light or something similar that I can hang in the car for better lighting. I also didn't explain the "tacking in" properly, the boxes can be removed to sort the rust areas before final welding so that full strength and therefore, safety is 100%. That said, I hope you enjoy watching and look out for the next one.

It's good to see you back again. I've got no issue with either lighting or lack of scripting because I'm more interested in the automotive engineering content than your media skills 😂 I'm curious as to how you cut the plates. Did you hand cut them with a plasma, or did you use your computer controlled cutter that we saw in previous episodes? For those of us at a slightly more basic level of fabrication skill, an episode on how to set a MIG welder up correctly and use it properly would be interesting too 😆

why not fix the rust holes first , this is the wrong way around !!! and you ll not be able to get to the rust damage propperly , that will affect the cage pickup points strength ,
