I had an interesting day today, getting mine out of hibernation. The next video tells the story 😜

Hibernation? It's barely been cold here this winter. Though I also had time off the road I'm sad to say... whilst I stripped and rebuilt my 600Rs badly botched wiring harness and stripped, cleaned and rebuilt the carbs. Spring is about here, get that beastie out and about :)

@@RoobieRoo2 Thank you 😉 I take the RF on long trips. Very long bike which makes it stable and puts the rider a bit lower down (almost stretched over the tank). High speed stretches become easy. Not really a bike for flicking through twisty mountain roads, but you can get the bike to do it with a bit of work 😊

I'm looking at a Triumph Sprint GT for the same reason, also the Honda VFR800, but it appears a bit bland, people seem to love the sound of a V4, but I'm mot one of them, an inline four sounds much sweeter to my ear, even three cylinders is better. What are your thoughts on a relatively budget tourer? @@MrLefthooker

@@RoobieRoo2 I looked at the VFR800 intensly. Decided against it in the end. Too much vibration, not enough wind protection, in fact, just the opposite, due to the screen shape and size the wind is channeled into the head area making things very loud too. Sprint GT has a grunty engine but I don't know much about this bike.
