I was disappointed in my tactical belt. I got the double pinch release style where it snaps together and to release you squeeze a button top and bottom. Great idea but horrible because the buckle doesn't fit through the pants belt loops. So you have to dismantle the whole thing every time you change pants.

When I bent over the buckle slipped up and almost popped off and was not stiff enuf to hold up G17 Tier1. Gave it to my dad since he doesnt carry.

Very good review thank you I'm going to get one of these we don't need buckles that can pull a tank or use as a mountain climbers carabiner, we need very lightweight buckles that are easy to use and being a huge Vedder holster fan it looks like I'm about to get a new Vedder belt as well. I've been using Blue Alpha Gear low profile belt which is also very lightweight buckle it makes a big difference with ease of daily carry. Every extra ounce adds up fast so this Vedder belt is a very attractive option. Thanks 👍

Hey when you appendix carry how is it with the belt and sitting down. Does the belt cause any digging in your gut or groin as far as pushing the gun and holster?

I’d like to buy this belt, but I find it hard to believe the aluminum clip won’t bend open if someone overweight puts heavy pressure on it while bending over.

I’m not a big person but I bought one almost 2 years ago and have user it every day at work. I groom dogs and carry a shield, It has never once bent or popped free. My husband also bought one after I had mine for a couple months, no problems either.

You’re wearing it wrong! The adjustable end goes against the body to help keep the velcro closed. If you like it now you’ll really like it when wore correctly.

That buckle just doesn't look trustworthy to me.

Im with you. Every time I see it, it looks like a horrible design. It's success relies on one tiny corner of aluminum. This is a no go.
