This Oreo cake is beyond decadent. Filled with chopped Oreos, which add both creaminess and crunch, and the buttercream is literally to die for! Something about all the cookies blitzed into the frosting is just transformative. The whole thing is crowned with a chocolate ganache that just takes everything to another level.

Ooooh my gosh! I made this for my mom's early birthday cake and 4th of July celebration and it came out lovely!!! I made a two tier cake with extra dollops of frosting on the top and chopped in half Oreos for decoration, and it came out DELICIOUS!! It was very rich and decadent and had the most amazing crunch with the Oreos. Thanks so much John, again, for the most amazing recipe. I will never be afraid to make a cake again with John on my side. :)

Why is your bottom cake layer a darker/more yellow color than the top 2 layers? I dont know how to do time stamps, but watch 16:40-16:55. The bottom later is different... 🤔

What if I only have two 6-inch pans and two 9-inch pans? Can I portion 2/3 the batter in the two 6-inch pans bake first, and then bake the last 1/3 of my batter in a 6inch pan 45 min later? Or will that make the third layer super flat
