Christianity brainwashed humans to believe they are evil, made of nature and nature is evil. The Buddha taught that one must include themselves in their compassion. By being compassionate to our body, conditioned mind and Primal brain, we live more authentically allowing all experiences without judgement. Thank you Tara!

"What we practise gets stronger ....Intentionally looking for the goodness helps to ... rebalance the negativity bias...And it takes practice. It takes real intentionality. ...Scan for goodness in people but also in everything ......Feel the appreciation in your body and then for 10, 25 seconds pause, because if you just appreciate something but you don't really pause and take it in ----it comes and goes but it doesn't register in a deep way in your system. Painful experiences go right into our implicit memory.they take root, because our survival brain takes hold on them...pleasant ones don't. You have to marinate in them for 15 to 30 seconds for them to go into your implicit memory and be available for recall in any real way. So it is a practice, it is a real training. .......but you start turning a state into a trait .....that is the basic groundwork of loving kindness" - thank you so much Tara for sharing your knowledge and wisdom! It is sooooooooooooooo helpful!

Beautifully said .."Turning a state into a trait " by that you mean trying to remain a good human being who sees life , people and as much as possible with loving kindness ,not only during meditation but allowing this to become a characteristic trait that we bring into our being on a daily basis ... have i understood this correctly? namaste 🙏
