Present Indicative Verbs (First and Second Conjugation)

After looking at nouns for a bit, it's time to learn about verbs. Whereas nouns are grouped into different declensions, verbs are grouped into four different conjugations. Learning all the different conjugations and tenses will take a long time, so let's start very simply by looking at present indicative for the first and second conjugation!

You missed one: fluctuāre - to wave Ego fluctuō - I wave Tū fluctuās - You wave Is/ea/id fluctuat - He/she/it waves Nōs fluctuāmus - We wave Vōs fluctuātis - You all wave Eī/eae/ea fluctuant - They wave Wave conjugations! 😂

I love how you not only make sure to define what you are about to talk about (like how you defined what verbs are) but also provide plenty of verbs from the first 2 verb declensions to remember, adding vocabulary! It's totally natural and helpful in my opinion, I am looking forward for further lessons!

2:18 it's "coniugare" not "conjugare" (pronunciation is ok tho). in latin the "j" letter does not exist! 😉👍

neither does the letter u, but it is convenient for us in the 21st century to use j and u where they make sense

It's an outgrowth of medieval palaeography. It used to be standard in dictionaries and textbooks to use j at the beginning of words rather than i, though the Oxford Latin Dictionary- which is now the most complete- decided to use i all the time. So, iustitia instead of justitia etc.

Either something always existed or something came from nothing either way there's no way around it .. all the base to everything, but yet your science guide line you go buy doesn't really allow either to happen.. you try to avoid this topic almost like it irrelevant but it's the base for all existence.
