This video is a presentation in which I explain brain mapping, pros and cons of acquiring microscope images of brain tissue at low magnification, depth of field, different approaches to immunohistochemistry (IHC), what tyramide signal amplification (TSA) is, why it is useful, and how to do successive rounds of it in different colors. Finally, despite being the first part of this video's name, the last segment of the video covers what free-floating tissue staining is and a bit on how to do it.
