This is my 10.2 M+ Preservation Evoker healing guide for new players and veterans alike. We go over all all aspects of the class for season 3 to prepare you for the new challenges that season 3 provides us. I have extensive explanations of how our ramp and combos work as well as all of our relevant spells and abilities. Enjoy!.
Correction: I misspoke on the echo section where I say there will be 10 reversions on the group. It’s actually only 6. Lesson learned to not do voice recording and editing at 3am as you will make honest mistakes.

I made a mistake in the Reversion example with Echoes. Only the person that gets the initial reversion gets a double stack of it, everyone else just gets one. The double stack scenario works with dream breath. Entirely my bad :(

Well, this cleared up some of my Prevoker rotations. I like the way you illustrated the ramps and combos with graphics and step-by-step instructions. Getting back into the lizard healer now before Season 4. I'll probably just run raids in S4.

nothing great was an 11 or 12 its the highest im at, at the moment just climbing slowley getting used to the damage level of each upgraded key but first week i was doing 2+ as i wasnt confident by the end of last week was doing 11/12 keys@@ValiathGaming

@@davidbell4768 that’s a tough bracket to be in as well man. Damage really start spiking up and mistakes have consequences. It’s a great key size to learn a spec and start building dungeon knowledge and muscle memory. Keep at it and you will be hitting 20s in no time!

for the adaptive dracothyst arm guards, is it able to become a higher item level or do you take the hit to item level just for the embellishments? I am new to wow and still barely understand profession stuff

Hey man! You can upgrade crafted gear to 486 in the current season. @@tienation3568 oh I 100% understand man. So many new systems to learn. Just take it slow and steady and read wowhead as much as you can. A lot of good info there.

Great guide! Thank you! One thing I don’t fully understand - in echo example at the beginning you mentioned there will be 10 Hots. I don’t understand why, wouldn’t only one on tank be Duplicated and everyone else would have one stack from echo itself Thanks!

It works that way with dream breath when you hit everyone with the actual breath, but are you sure it doesn't replicate the reversion on only the target it is cast on?

@@ValiathGamingif 5 people have echo and you reversion, the player being reversioned will get double reversion. The rest of the party will only have one, so the correct answer is 6 hots. Not 10 😅

You are correct! That is entirely my bad! Appreciate the correction, i will make a pinned message regarding that. Lesson learned, don't do this stuff at 3am in the morning and you have half lost your mind lol. @@dendutror5050

Nozdormu with 4p is amazing and u can actualy take flow state too the cdr on empower and the living flames from them are amazing.

good guide, unfortunately it's very hard to enter 20+ keys as preservation right now, seems like we are stuck with shaman in the non desirable healer category, probably because it's so easy to play with a druid or a disc compared to an evoker, and even pally and mistweaver are prefered. not looking good bruh.

Hey man, you are not wrong. My guy is at 2500 io and 470 and getting declined from 18s lol. I think this will probably be another season where most of us will need to push our own keys to get into groups and get to higher end content. We also have the added problem of augmentation still being meta and groups don’t want to hang with two evokers.

@@ValiathGaming on my server i'm 2nd best prevoker with 2k8 rating , the first one is ranked 55th healer of the whole server with 2900, i'm ranked 107th with 2k8. As the 2nd best prevoker of my server I'm not even in the top100 healers of that server, that's how underplayed it is lol

Amazing video, i was forced to heal (normally augmentation evoker) but i had to switch to preservation for our HC Fyrakk kill.. i performed badly xD this video helped me understand the combos and ramps better.. thank you.

Hello! Thank you for those kind words, I really appreciate it. I am glad the video helped you. Beware though, the video is catered to m+ content, and raid healing on the Evoker is vastly different. It is on my list to make a raid healing guide for evokers focusing on the Big Blossom playstyle and mechanics.
