@@obsideon1343 so you think affordable housing isn't subsidized by tax payers? You think some guy said to himself, i'm going to renovate this old building with my own money and charge low rent?

@@nunyabiz1780 When it's government, this is a non-profit so very little if any taxpayer money went to it. I bet on per building cost it's less than the tax abatements/incentives that went to the District Detroit. So whatever grants, historical preservation incentives but projects like this is usually majority contributions from private foundations and funding sources. But by all means if you have documented proof from where the funds for this project came from by all means share.
