Yes!! We try to eat all we can fresh, and can the rest for winter... So nice having those out of season treats all winter, saves huge on the grocery bill too!

I froze it for years, and I was so happy once I tried this... I'm always looking for old canning books now, there's ton's of stuff in there they no longer publish. :)

Thank yup. The USDA apparently does not recommend canning summer squash. I don't see why not. I am excited to try this. Thank you for the video.

I try to always follow the safety guidelines... A lot of things they just don't do testing on, so there is no data to safe if it's safe or not... I tend to do some testing on my own if it's something I really want... and I love the old books... there is a ton of info in them that they don't publish today.

@@HomesteadCorner I canned 10 jars of shredded zucchini and wrote down the recipe. Worked beautifully. Thank you!
