As a proud American and an expat living in London, I commend Obama on the tremendously positive impact he has made on the perception of America abroad. I have witnessed such deep respect for him in England and Germany. I literally cried during his speech; I am not ready to say goodbye. Who can I look to to model poise, charisma, humor and professionalism now! In the spirit of Obama's wise words, I will be an active citizen and hold strong to our common virtues. I am hopeful that America will continue to be a place worthy of admiration, a place full of opportunity, innovation and tolerance.
