L époque de gloire et de la grandeur assurée du zaïre. Chapeau bas au Maréchal, la barre a été très haut placée, Un devoir difficile pour ceux qui sont venu après Qui ne comprennent absolument rien de l' importance stratégique du zaïre-Congo dans la sous région des grands lacs africains, au niveau de la région de l Afrique centrale et à l échiquier mondial.

@@jenniferhaynes8625 Tbf even if Mobutu didn't overthrow him, someone else definitely would have done. The west was looking at every way to get rid of Lumumba, and it's not like Mobutu was their only hope at doing so. If Mobutu failed, the west would simply find someone else willing to 'do the job' and in-turn reward them. Mobutu did what he did because he found himself at the right place at the right time.
