JB is a grown man. He is a leader and a wise veteran at this point. Just go back and watch old press conferences. He’s transformed his game and leadership. Great to see!

A leader doesn't say no team can beat us 4x. It's childish talk and makes the ops play harder.. like the timeout taunt by Horford last year. Celtics be shooting themselves in the foot every year. Maybe if they be more humble, they can actually win a chip.. Game 2: then they lose by 24 today.

Defense wins championships! Such growth by JB - especially his drive/attack style but understands to pass when needed. Made some great drives and passes for EASY buckets. Best basketball i've seen in a very long time. They all make sacrifices

I love JB, but he’s not DPOY. With that being said, he has been amazing one-on-one defense, and he definitely deserves to be on the All-Defensive team

Your equation is wrong. Here's the correction: White + JB + JT>ANT TEAM>individual #strength in numbers

Jaylen Brown is The Rightful Leader of The Boston Celtics. Tatum scores 18 pts? What MVP Candidate does that, against a team like Cleveland?
@TheRobversion1

Celtics dont need an MVP. Its strength in numbers. Its not because they have 1 elite player. Its because they have multiple great players. Everyone leads in their own way. You saw PP pumping everyone up after his buzzer beater. You saw Al get frustrated and callout defensive miscues. Its a lead by commitee. This is a real TEAM. props to JB/D.White for great games. But i'd also give JT for deferring, not hunting shots too much and focusing on rebounding/defense. If you really had to pick an MVP for this team so far these playoffs, its not JB either. Its d.white.

@@TheRobversion1 There is Always Excuses when Jayson Tatum does not play well( he sucked tonight ). But, when Jaylen Brown misses a couple of free throws, or turns the ball over, You People are Quick to Criticize him. Bottom-Line: Jayson Tatum is not an MVP!

@@heisenberg2966 oh i dont think JT is an mvp either. its jokic. i dont think hes the playoff mvp either. it's d.white. my point is that JT doesnt suck just because he only scores 18 points. he contributes in alot of other ways that people dont see. same way some fans only see steph in those GSW title runs and dont acknowledge prime draymond. JT is this team's draymond green right now. Tonight he played an excellent game outside of offense. his offense sucked tonight. not the other aspects of his game. if he just shot the ball 4-5 times less, this would be an excellent overall game. 18 points, 11 boards, 5 assists, 1 blk and excellent defense on low usage/not high mins is excellent if he's shooting 7/14-15 from the field. the only issue tonight was he took 4 ill-advised shots and ended at 7/19.
