The Baylor Football head coach spoke with the media on Saturday after the Bears' limited access showcase practice. The event had to be curtailed to the indoor facility due to weather.

The threads of commitment, work ethic and perseverance will affect the stability of Baylor and other midlevel (ranked 30th & lower) teams. Agents, players, families are willing to chase their agendas leaving behind gaps to be filled where talent is missing. Unless the transfer portal is amended there will be less hope for teams out of the top 20.

It's a shame Armani Winfield is transferring. I had high expectations that he would succeed in college as well as he succeeded in high school. I thought that he would fit and shine in Spavital's offense so it's a real bummer that he's leaving. Wish him the best.

These days in the transfer portal era I’ve found it’s best to be a Baylor fan, not an Armani Winfield fan or a DeQuan Finn fan or a Sawyer Robertson fan, etc. people come and go more quickly than they do in Oz!

Spring game gets cancelled and players practice in shorts instead. Players hitting portal and big 2025 QB recruit de-commits to go to Ok State. Aranda talks about how injuries hurt spring practice. This is Spring Football where you get fans and players excited for upcoming season. Way not cool.
