This Karcher model 395 would not shut off. I show how to replace the faulty switch. Easy-Peasy! This could also apply if your electric pressure washer will not turn on.

My Karcher 395 also has exact same problem....I disassembled and cleaned the switch since I was pressed for time. Saw the same switch at Amazon but as of april 2024, shows "currently unavailable". New problem is that the pressure washer turns on and off even when not spraying, because there seems to be a water leak somewhere and it wants to keep the pressure built up. Develops pressure and sprays strong when washing. I need to find the leak... I don't want to burn out the motor and more wear on it since it turns on about every 1-2 seconds. I need to stop moving this thing when the water hose is connected... that seems to put strain on the water inlet. Chris

Thanks for the comment, I updated the link to the part. If you store your PW in an area that could freeze, any residual water not drained from the pump could crack the housing. You'll just have to take it apart and see what's going on. Good luck!

My karcher k4 does same thing the pump keeps running,on off switch doesn't work it came only be powered off at wall socket. Do you think I need this switch?

That's exactly what mine was doing. The switch welds itself closed internally so it cannot break the circuit to shut off the pump. I would say the switch is very likely bad. It's an easy fix. Take pictures before you disconnect any wires so you have a reference to plug everything back together correctly. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
