Crime of passion is usually done by out of control rage and Tommy is out of control to get Rusty. He is the killer.

The kid, hers, said that he left after Rusty entered her house that night. So he wouldn’t have seen someone else enter. The dna matching could mean it’s his son depending on what type of test they did

I think you’re completely off about his wife. I think the prosecutor whose prosecuting him is the one that killed his mistress. I also think that he was sleeping with her and she dumped him think about it.

I am feeling like it could be the dirty lawyer cause he hates Rusty and could have easily had the med examiner plant the DNA under her nails. She did slap him it showed

I think it’s the medical examiner. Why is he behaving so erratically all the time? He can commit the perfect crime and frame anyone. Or the psychiatrist lol. She gets the inside scoop about everything and anyone. Maybe Rusty had a thing with her too.

I don't think rusty did it, he's being framed by Tommy because Tommy was the one Carolyn was talking about, not Rusty.

If it really turns out to be Rusty’s son who killed her, then damn they really copied from Mare of Easttown lol

Idk I actually kind of believe that the show is making us think he DIDNT do it. He’s being so upfront even though all the evidence is against him… feels like a bait and switch to me. Him being the killer would be the most surprising answer at this point given the whole show is centered around him being “presumed innocent”.

Tommy Molto is the killer.

My gut tells me his wife did it and I knew this the minute they introduced her. They had violent sex but the show is piling the evidence on so thick that is it obvious that someone else did it.

There’s no way of knowing if he was really drunk tho, with no blood work that only HIS version (unless I missed something and they have proof live CVTV footage or the bar bill) Could be only a cop out for him not remembering what happened that night

I’m trying so hard to not watch the movie with Harrison Ford so the show isn’t ruined. I think Dusty Rusty is the killer! If not I think that’s the way the writing should go.

Or What if the scenes of Barbara at the bar are scenes from before the mvrd3r and Barb and the bartender plotted! ! ! Another suspect could be Raymond’s wife

I could have really done without the shoehorned scene “sometimes I think you forget our son is black“. The lead DA is half black, the lead suspect is white, the son is not a suspect, and the entire thing just feels so forced besides the narrative being defunct, because it’s not even on the table. It sounds almost like they’re mocking the concept.

This series is slow, very slow. The two actors Rustie and his wife are they in the same series? There is no connection whatsoever. The original was so good.
