"Pretty Woman" By Dook LaRue: Side-by-side Comparison with Calibration Tape

Here is a comparison of my Dook performing "Pretty Woman" alongside the original calibration tape.
This is far from what I would consider a "good" performance, in fact it's kinda bad. Some movements are not working correctly (as of this being uploaded, everything is already fixed). I figured I'd just leave this imperfect recording as is, to show how you can spot what is wrong in a performance. I've played so many of these shows over-and-over again, so it's practically ingrained in my head of how everything should look, so I was well aware of this not being right before even comparing it.
Because video and audio frame rates are so sensitive to even the slightest of frame rate change, I had to do some splicing to get these two videos to line up. It's just what happens when dealing with this stuff, it's annoying. I really wish video and audio files wouldn't be like that, but here we are.

Learning about how adjustments affect programming has been an interesting thing for me recently. Head turns and head up could be a tad faster to prevent head getting stuck in the air. I wouldn’t adjust too much though. Looks good!

Especially with such different programming styles, I’ve noticed earlier programming “spams” movements a lot more, as opposed to later ones that don’t

@collegetoycollector they did that to be more realistic iirc, later ones were programmed by cec which looked worse than the cei programmed ones

Awesome job! It’s always interesting to see side by side comparisons, especially when playing the same song, synchronized. Also, I like his outfit, it’s very similar to my Dook!

Yoooooo he look amazing!!!! Nice outfit, You should recreate the 1980 dook outfit, that would be cool as well to have many outfits for dook. Btw the shoes make him look way smarter for our lovable goofy funny dog, I love it!

Before I found pretty woman, my favorite was heartaches but I also really really like “Middle of the night”. You should program Dook to do that song! Nvm I just saw that you did Middle of the night

@@GoofyGoober747 I just filmed him playing “Middle of the Night” today, and I’m actually happy with how it came out for once, so I’ll upload it soon. That’s one of my favorite performances he does
