1. Way easier to install than MagBak 2. They actually sell individual so if you need only one or two as opposed to you only can buy four at a time SOLD

Does the tape leave a residue if you decide to take it out? Also, can you still inflate the tire with rim case on it?

I purchased this a few weeks ago. It is very easy to install and blends in decently well. It offers a little peace of mind as Tesla wheels are easy to scratch.

@@444Allen they are holding up well. My wife scratched one of the wheel protectors and you cannot tell unless you look closely. If it was the actual rim paint would have been removed.

Not avoiding. But cable charging is just so much faster. But I’ll use the charging pad on longer drives.

Rim guard is fine. Now getting extra things like storage under screen is just crazy. You really don’t need that plus more squeaky noise.

i have this video queued to watch but maaaan that MagBak case is a process to install. not hard but kinda annoying lol. i just did it last week on mine. let me see if this one is better product and process.

Sorry Evbase cheap plastic rim protector does not protect the rim. My tesla rim got scraped when piece of this cheap EVBASE rim protector piece broke off. It was from just a slow wheel turning movement when exiting the parking. Just stay away from the curb and protect your rim. Evbase does NOT post my negativ ereview at their site too

Ah Tesla owners, that's a solution for a problem caused by bad driving, just learn to drive and judge where your car is in relation to immovable solid objects lol. You are precious though !!

It would be nice to never make a mistake while parking. I let my high school and college kids drive either of my Teslas at times. They each have their own vehicles but when they go on trips they like to take the Teslas. Mistakes can happen. I wish that I could have some edge protection on my $6,000 BMW HRE wheels. I let my son drive the car from time to time but he is not that good at driving a manual transmission yet.

The better solution is to learn how to drive! Maybe you shouldn’t own a Tesla or cars that are susceptible to curb rash…. Just saying!

I have $6000 HRE wheels on my BMW M3 and I am always worried about scratching them. I also have $5,000 wheels on my Model 3 Performance. My wife has the Model Y Performance and I added the rim protector rings to them 21” wheels just in case. They blend in pretty well and look oem. My wife is used to driving her Lexus GX which has a large side wall to protect the rims. Sometimes, you can make a mistake while parking. There are a lot of times where I would work 16 hrs or more a day and have to drive home tired. Once I scraped my mirror on the garage edge after not sleeping for two days. Accidents happen and this just offers peace of mind.
