A former KGB spy hid in plain sight in America under the alias Jack Barsky, spending decades unnoticed in the U.S. His double life included families on both sides of the Atlantic. Steve Kroft joins "CBS This Morning" to preview Sunday's "60 Minutes" report.

@@SerjEpic Oh but he did - BIG TIME. One of his comrades told us so. His name was Yuri Besmenov (aka Thomas Schuman) - you can find many of his videos on you tube - I am posting the most important ones below. Besmenov's mission was in India (along with others), but he defected because he fell in love with that country and their culture. He even fell in love with an Indian woman. A KGB agent falling in love with the enemy country was a no-no. The KGB made him marry a Russian woman. So Besmenov became disgusted with the KGB and the whole subversion process and what they were trying to do to the whole world, and he defected. He had to dress as a hippie (complete with a long-haired wig) to escape. He came to the Americas (Canada and the U.S.) to warn us what the KGB was doing. There were other agents in the U.S. already at play subverting us - one of them was no doubt Jack Barsky. Even though the Soviet Union is no more, the damage was done - it was done by the mid-80s. The results of their subversion process were by this time already ingrained in American culture. Once this process is set in motion it becomes unstoppable unless some people work hard to start the reversal, but no one ever did, even though they knew about it because Besmenov made them aware of it. We are now living the consequences. I would encourage EVERYONE to watch these videos (ESPECIALLY the second one): kzfaq.info/get/bejne/es97a9tqsbrDfIU.html kzfaq.info/get/bejne/l9ySfMt-zp-zh5s.html NOTE: Besmenov eventually disappeared - no one knows whether he went into hiding or if he was executed.

The. xBULLDOGx I’ve been awake for some time now, passively. Watching Yuriy’s two interviews blew my eyes wide open! Sent it to a few close friends and didn’t feel the reaction back. He was spot on in his comprehensive and frightening overview of the world - damn 35 years ago, as if speaking on today’s events! Horrifying to see the infiltration into every part of society, to dismantle faith and good, along with common sense. Where has everyone’s critical thinking skills gone?!

Can't believe that you did that, because he ist not from "West" Germany, he's from the East, the former DDR, which was "The Soviet Occupation Zone" after World War II. Calling him "West" is an affront to all Bavarians, who are really from the West and also have been "American Occupation Zone" after World War II. Bavarians don't like it, when they get compared to the people from the DDR, because the methods those communists used for so many years, are just disgusting. Bavarians see Americans as friends and would never ever send a spy!

NEY Industries Boris Yeltsin was the founder of the United Russia Party and he is *not* nor has he ever been a spy or working for the KGB. In reference to Putin and some other figures in his party having had the experience of working in the KGB, they were all low-level officers. Not the James Bond type kind of person or task on a similar level. Meaning further that the FSB is *not* the same as the KGB. The old elements died out. If you didn't know it yet, contrary to the USSR, the Russian Federation has a multi-party Government system, a Free Market and enjoys Freedom of Religion and any other sort of freedoms you didn't have under Communism. So please leave your Cold War mentality behind.
