Great video Rob. Very tricky weekend indeed. I’m actually flying down to Hungary with my 7year old son to watch it live. Will be his first live F1 race, he’s super pumped right now :)

Outstanding! I attended my first GP as an 8 year-old with my dad in 1968. It was the beginning of a life-long love affair with F1. I hope you and your son enjoy a memorable week-end!

Which combination would you currently prefer: HAM + ZHO vs RUS + ALB vs PIA + BOT (rolling one free transfer with PIA)? The rest of my team is set to be MCL + MER + NOR + HUL + SAR.

As of right now, it has to be RUS ALB for me. George is the third best qualifier among all drivers this season (which is especially important at a track like Hungary) and Albon is a markedly better option than the Sauber drivers. Unless you're planning to get in Max for his possible grid penalty in Spa, I don't think rolling a transfer is as important this week

Think I've watched all your vids this year, always solid takes ❤️👍 Just wondering your thoughts on Nor 2x w/ Sar or Pia 2x w/ Alb Feel like Logan is haemorrhaging budget but Lando will get more points than the other combo. Thank you for making great content all over 😄

Glad I can help Sam! You're spot on about Logan, he's quite the budget risk, but I just think Norris is a much better 2x option than Piastri, even if Albon is the offsetting driver to Logan in that equation. I think the points upside with Lando edges the budget preservation of Oscar and Albon

In my second team I can only just afford a double premium driver line-up. Is it worth it to run NOR + RUS + Sar + Bot + Zho + MCL + MER with those cheap drivers? Or would you go with NOR + Hul + Mag + Bot + Sar/Zho + MCL + MER/RBR (and rolling a transfer if I stick with RBR)?

That is a tricky one. Probably still leaning Norris and Russell if Magnussen doesn't look particularly convincing in FP

Yeah you probably could take VER given that after Spa is Zandvoort, so he won't take a grid penalty at home and then after that is Monza with an average overtake/positions gained is 3 courtesy of Fantasy Tools. So he'll take it at Spa. What i would like to know is if it's gonna be a 10 place or a 20. the 10 is far les interesting to me. I wonder where we could find this out? Anyway, now that you mention HUL, he's the only asset i have had all year!

Such a great question Mike - I can't imagine we are going to find out unless it straight from the horse's mouth (Red Bull)! I think if it's a 20 place grid penalty, that is almost an auto-lock for me in terms of getting him in. 10 like you say is much less obvious to me!

Very tempted to get norris 2x,both haas,russel and sar with merc and mcl but idk sargeant is always dangerous 😂

I really like that combination - doubt many can afford both Haas and Norris (even with Sargeant)!

Hey Rob! Thoughts on Piastri/ Russell X2, Zhou, Mag, Hulk with Merc and McLaren constructors to gain budget? Torn between the above team and Norris (X2), Russell, Albon, Hulk, Sarg with Merc and McLaren. Thanks!

I think I like the Norris team slightly more - here's why: Norris is a definitive 2x option, whereas it's a little unclear to me who the better option out of Russell and Piastri is. Zhou is essentially a more expensive Sargeant now and I don't know yet if Magnussen will be as good as he's been at other tracks where there is fewer overtaking opportunities. I still think he will be good, but I am not seeing a double digit haul on the horizon for him this week

Im stuck running NOR x2, GAS, MAG, HUL, ZHO/BOT, with MER/MCL, any tips on a team I could go with for this week to build some budget?? I am left with 1.5 mil with the team I listed above.

I think if you want to focus on building budget, then I would probably aim to get in two B Tier drivers (HAM/PIA/RUS), as I think that is a more reliable middle ground for budget gain than C Tiers and Lando
