Welcome to this Autogefühl preview of the new BMW 3 Series Facelift. Looking forward to your thoughts about the product update - but first, let us give you some information about it. In this video we will see the BMW 340i Sedan Sport Line, here in Mediterranean Blue metallic, the BMW 330d Touring Luxury Line, here in this Platin Silver metallic and also the BMW 340i Sedan M Sport Package in champagne quarz metallic, it will be all marked with an insert. All the interiors in different colours are also coming up, so be sure to check that.
40 years ago BMW started with the 3 Series and founded the segment of sporty mid-class sedans. It is the most successful BMW model, making out one quarter of the total vehicle sales.
The changes on the exterior are rather minor, the biggest changes are new engines and also an updated interior. In this video, we ll see the 3 Series Sedan 340i with M Sport Package as well as a 330d Touring in Luxury Line. Theses two, as well as the 335d, are always equipped with the eight-speed Steptronic transmission, whereas the smaller engine models will start with the 6-speed manual gear box and have the automatic one as an option.
There still will be 6- and 4-cylinders, however, the engine lineup will now also start with 3-cylinders.
Looking at the exterior, we see new front bumpers and new headlights. Full-LED headlights can now be specified as an option. In the rear, LED lights are now standard.
The interior, which you will later see in this video, so stay tuned, will feature new materials and additional chrome highlights for the controls, air vents and central control panel. Also there is a newly crafted sliding cover for the cupholders - woohoo.
On the technology side, the infotainment unit will now also support the LTE standard.
