Futures Risk Disclosures and CFTC Hypothetical Performance Disclosure
Risk Disclosure
Futures and forex trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor. An investor could potentially lose all or more than the initial investment. Risk capital is money that can be lost without jeopardizing ones’ financial security or life style. Only risk capital should be used for trading and only those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.
CFTC Rules 4.41 - Hypothetical Performance Disclosure: Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown; in fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk of actual trading. for example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all which can adversely affect trading results.

Pennies dropped for me when I watched this. Rob's explanations usually leave me more confused, but this made so much sense and made me realise I've often been drawing my BFs wrong. Thanks, Alex.

Very cool Alex, I am finally starting to grasp the broadening formations concept. Watching you and the other stratters draw the BFs helps a great deal. Getting better at this!!!

I think I finally see why you decide to draw your left side where you do. I would still like to understand what that does in practical terms a little deeper lol but this helped to see what I think I struggled to, so thanks.

So Alex on the high time frame like the daily right! what you are saying once the previous candle low got taken out its a sign that the price most likely will reverse to the upside, and then u can move down to the lower time frame and look for entries or have a bias of what the day will be like, ?

Alex. With roku, How do you know that the Thursday 2u(red) shooter isn't a start of a reversal and roku may not make it to the top of the broadening formation? (I understand it's not a true reversal because it's not a lower low, but so many reversals start like that) I and many other investors got stopped out Thursday and especially with a weekly option, why would keep roku into Friday? We are kicking ourselves because we missed so many gains? How often do you keep weekly options going into a friday?

The stop out or not is subjective on the trader but re-entering on the kicking pattern on the daily would’ve paid just as well. Just got to look for the buyers and trail the stops. But not getting stopped out is just understanding that weekly magnitude has more weight than the daily.

@@AlexsOptions thanks for the response. I think I have the habit of not going back and looking at things I've gotten stopped out on. I assume it has failed and look for other opportunities. I think I started that habit because of wash sales. But I think it doesn't apply if I just buy a different strike or expiration of the option I was stopped out on.

Yo Alex, I’ve watched a lot of Strat content at this point, and to be honest, no one has done a good job of laying out a system. Can you please layout a step by step system? Is the very first step to find a higher timeframe candle that has triggered a Strat reversal or 1-2 continuation? Is that how you find your bias? If not, what do you do? And what’s next? I know supply and demand zones very well. I could just trade with them. But if I can use Strat alongside them, that’d be great. Thanks

I wonder if Rob and Sarah do trade. Did they really bought FB ROKU GOOGL QQQ SPY when they go up those 2s 3s ? Or they only teach the theory, has nothing to do with trading or making money?

Phenomenon...Re Dick you lus You really should research Order blocks and Order flow. Your tops are are short order blocks your lows are longs. Rob knows working on the floor.

Yes the tops and the bottoms are where buyers / sellers become more aggressive. Those “order blocks” / supply and demand ‘areas’ get ran so they’re not a truth in trading.

@@AlexsOptions Negative- if you think order blocks are supply and demand zones - then you still don't know what they are, Technically all you BF get ran at some point also so ? . Supply and Demand are a joke an off topic. There's no phenomenon , this is just sensational language along with universal truths. Anyone can look at what you're doing as drawing megaphones and using fractal patterns... nothing to see here . Just another pattern using trader that claims they're not using patterns.

honestly the why in what you're doing is missing . Draw a lowere low to a lowere low ? why ? I think those order blocks will help with trading . You'll be able to see them , see that the bottom of the BF or Megaphone or whatever names next also had an order block prior and get comfortable with being long or at the top get comfortable with being short.

I’d love to hear more of what you’re trying to say- to be 100% honest I have no clue what you’re trying to say by “order block” but I’m interested.
