Great reaction! If you like Ashley Espinoza, the female singer, (and WHO wouldn't??) you need to check out Voctave's "Disney Princess Medley", which showcases each female singer as a different princess (Ashley sings "Reflections" from Mulan and it is stunning). It's another one that will hit you in the feels.

That last part, where the little boy says "Merry Christmas, Mommy!" and she replies with "Merry Christmas, mi hijo!" gets me every time! Being a dad of 4, ranging from 19 to 2, it hits my heart every time I hear it.

This one makes the tears well up every time. Looking forward to more Voctave reactions. There are so many great ones, but I am going to recommend one that I don't see others request. Even if you don't react to it, you should listen to their version of the Star Spangled Banner.

Great group to give a reaction to. I recently found them myself. And being in the music business for over 30 years, I found this group totally fascinating and such talent. I did the same thing the first time I heard this I cried. It’s so beautiful. And the first soprano is truly incredible with her high notes. I know she goes up to a high c. But at some point, I think she actually goes up to an F above in the background.

Okay, for some Voctave reactions, here’s a couple suggestions. One- since you saw their Disney Love medley, you should watch their Disney Princess medley. It’s is epic. Second, since Christmas is over, but it’s still worth the listen, check out their version of Mary Did you Know? Featuring the original songwriter, Mark Lowry.

The little boy is the son of Ashley, who sang lead!And you do not have to be pregnant for this song to make you cry!!Songs: If you want something different, listen to the Great Movie Medley, where they do John Williams movie theme songs and only one has lyrics. They are an orchestra. Also The Disney Showstoppers medley featuring 3 of the 6 guys and The Prince Of Egypt is incredible, all 8:20 of it.

Boy, I must have become cynical in my old age, but it didn't touch me as that emotional...the lyrics do reflect this as a sad song, but I heard this originally sung by Pentatonix, which was also a beautiful rendition....their harmonies were terrific and Kirstie took the lead. If you're still doing Xmas reactions, look into a 2012 version of "Carol of the Bells" by them and you will be stunned to hear Mitch (when he starts singing, it goes almost what seems like a minute before he takes a breath... astonishing) !!

Ok, the obvious emotional part comes at the end. If you listen to the lyrics more closely, yes it starts out as a sad kind of song. Asking “where are you Christmas” but then, there’s a turning point, and the transition is emphasized with a chord that rings out, that Christmas is always here, it never left. “If there is love in your heart and your mind, you will feel Christmas all the time” As far as PTX goes, they aren’t my thing. However, Jamey Ray(arranger and tenor in Voctave) has arranged a few songs for PTX, and quite possibly arranged the song you feel is a better version. Peace.

@@nickerpsg1 full disclosure, I don’t know which songs he may have arranged, I only read more than one commenter on videos state that. From what I understand, Kirstie asked Jamey to arrange a couple of songs, after her performances with Voctave. It’s on the internet so it must be true. I’ve watched a few PTX videos. Unless I’m doing it wrong, they don’t credit anyone for arranging the music.
