I set this up yeti pay yourself 20.00 an hour… you can change that amount…. Most if they collect for time and supplies would not markup…. If you opt not to pay yourself for your time then definitely markup

How are you accounting for scrap, wear and tear, space and energy usage in your home? What about if you go out shopping to buy supplies? Just a few questions that I have.

that is a tax deduction, you can pass that on to the customer if you want...... scrap is accounted for you charge them for whats used.... if you cut a 2 x 3 image from a 4 x 4 sqare you are charging for a 4 x 4 square..... if you have a brick and mortar store you have your costs figured into your overhead.. WE don't give business advice .. we simply telling you the cost of the materials used in your project.... and that you want to make per hour..... the questions oyu are asking are business advice questions you have to take into account and how you want to handle that.

Hi April, I recently came across your pricing calculator and as a beginner I have come to use this multiple times. I love this! This is the best way to price my items I've found so far. I do have a few questions and was hoping you could help me. is there a way I can email you? I would like to share an order I'm working on and 2 different ways for the pricing, but I feel like I'm doing something wrong.

How would you input it if you had vinyl left over from the first decal and you want to use the same piece for another decal? I don't want to put it in as a whole other roll and have it calculate as I bought another roll.

I want to clarify that both decals are for the same person but cut separately. Do I just add the dimensions together and put it in as one or is there a way to have it listed as 2 separate pieces but on the same roll of vinyl?

the size of the originla sheet isnt changing... you are only going to change the amount you used. .. if your original sheet was 12 x 12 and it was 59 cents then you still putting that into the sheet... what will change is how much you used... if you have a 6 x 12 piece and you are using 4 x 4 piece of that ...thats what it figures the cost on at one time it was a 12 x 12 piece regardless... you keep that info in there its how much you used that calculates how much it cost.

@@christinesenese7893 no you are going to put in the original size of the vinyl and what you paid for it......... the calculator only calculates the amount you use in the project.. if i have a 12 x 12 piece and it was 50 cents... and i use a 5 x 5 piece i put all that information it and it calculates how much that 5 x 5 piece was.... and charges that for the project..it doesn't charge for the entire piece..... so i have some leftover... my next project.... i use the scrap piece ,,, it was origianlly 12 x 12 i used 5 x 5 so i cut of a 7 x 5 piece for my new project... it was still a 12 x 12 piece when i started using it but this time i put in i used a 5x7 piece of it...... it has to know how much it was origianlly to calculate the cost of it... it was a scrap when you purchased it....
