Welcome to Pittsburgh! If you come and visit again we can give you some different food places to go. Some good food options in the strip district and Lawrenceville. My wife and I are planning to come to Toronto area and grab some food at the tickled toad!

You need to go to the Original Primanti Bros in the Strip District. Small hole in the wall with a smaller menu.

I agree, and I'm not a fan of putting warm fries on a sandwich that should be cold. Makes everything soggy.

Next time in Pittsburgh, please try the original Primanti's in the Strip District ..... 46 18th Street, Pittsburgh. All Primanti's are great, but the original in Strip District is the best! Also, Strip District on Penn Avenue is great neighborhood to walk through. Number of other solid restaurants as well as number of shops and in particular local food and produce vendors.

The Duquesne Incline is a funicular railway. Lots of them in Europe. Love the travel vids. Looking forward to seeing the completion of the camper van. Stay safe.

You go to McDonald’s now and a basic meal with tiny burger is $12. It also had an option in the corner that you could get extra meat for $2 up charge.

I am from Pittsburgh and Uniontown area in PA. Parents moved to Cleveland Ohio for jobs as coal mines were shutting down when I was young. Grandparents were all coal miners. Duquesne Incline is only one of two Inclines left in the world I believe. Switzerland may have the other one. Movie Flashdance promoted it also. Lucky for you it was up and running. Last time I was in Pittsburgh it was under repair and shut down. Enjoy your trip. Thanks for the video.

There's an incline in Johnstown, PA. I always go up it when I visit family there. Seems to go way higher than the one in Pittsburgh.

We are hoping that you will have at least one or more videos from your trip to Pittsburgh. We just love your videos and seeing all of your travels all around the USA and Canada. Man, I’m jealous. I’ve always wanted to go to Primanti’s but I could never find the time and the muster to drive to PA. The sad thing is, it’s a much shorter drive from here in Ohio than for Ken.

Now we know where all the famous pictures of downtown Pittsburgh are taken - just go up the incline! Those sandwiches looked amazing, I've seen them lots on the Food Network.

In all seriousness….. you need to go to the TRIANGLE BAR in Swissvale (through the squirrel hill tunnel) and you will freak at how big the battleship subs are…then go hit the Smallman Street Deli for matzo ball soup…. That’s true Pittsburgh in the old neighborhoods with real folks, get out of these downtown high rent places. Then… go to Police Station pizza in Ambridge!

What a very nice trip you two. Glad Carol got to enjoy Pittsburgh. I have never been to steel town and I really have no excuse for not going. I live in east Tennessee and only about 8 hours drive away and after seeing this video Ken I think I will have to check them out. Thanks for another great video.

if cracker barrel is doing their fried chicken 🍗 anything on their menu is great 👍🏻 then grab some root beer on the way out and other old fashioned sodas. their bacon burger 🍔 steak fries then go take a food nap. oh especially their desserts
