Russian MREs are cool, I really like how they come with the little stoves and the way that the food comes in containers that you can put over the stoves , that's so cool

There are benefits for it in cold weather. Sure it might increase the risk of being detected but fire warm up and increase morale of the soldiers. There are many MRE that come with both the flameless heaters and the stoves to allow soldiers to chill whenever they can afford it.

In WW2 the Russian army was starving, until the USA sent over simply huge amounts of Spam, along with many thousands of much needed trucks. Stalin was upset the important USA help looked so obvious so he opened and re-canned the Spam. This MRE looks one of the best I ever saw, except for the cooking problems. Its just what an hungry soldier would want .

As an American camper we usually use Sterno alcohol canisters and works great for a small portable stove but those small flammable pellets work good too!

Is "vegetable caviar" a thing in English language? Or American culture at least, because "кабачковая икра" is basically that, out of squash (zucchini is a type of squash, so "zucchini caviar" wouldn't be really the exact equivalent)
