Glad i found your review. Been looking at this bow and new new 2023s. Your review was perhaps the most authentic and unbiased I’ve seen in a while. Glad you mentioned the grip. One of the most important aspects of a bow in my opinion. With my V3X I wasn’t too thrilled with the Engage grip after shooting a Bowtech with a flat grip for a while. Good thing is with Mathews there are a lot of aftermarket options. Wonder if there is anything you can do for your rig. Going to shoot this and see if it’s for me. Thanks again!

Thank you for watching! This is the main reason we put out videos, helping people save time and money and more importantly enjoy shooting/archery/hunting is what we are all about! We are working on a video with more specific opinions about each bow companies offering for 2023. We have been kicking around the idea of an arrow build video also. Stay tuned more videos are on the way!

You're not the only one who's had issues with shooting consistency. Seems to be an issue with the nano-grip. Still shooting and loving my CT3. Thanks for the update. Hoping Prime does something yet again different for '23.

What I’ve been waiting for 🔥. Great video, prime is among the top contenders for my next bow. I’m super interested in what their 2023 lineup is. Hopefully honing in on the things they got wrong with the inline series. That being said, I’ve noticed there is absolutely zero content worth watching on anything APA archery is making here on KZfaq. Would you guys be willing to pick up one of their newer hunting flagship bows? Nobody talks about hand shock. Nobody talks about decibels on the shot, nor do they talk about how the draw cycle is. It’s like they just read a brochure and regurgitate the information. Thank you for the honest and thorough review!

Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment! We have looked at the mamba series from APA if I remember correctly the mamba 33 has some impressive specs. If we get the chance to get our hands one we would love to see what it is capable of! Also we can’t wait to see what bow companies have in store for 2023! Stay tuned to see where this year takes us!

Thanks for watching! I would definitely recommend the string stop swap if you end up with this bow, it makes a huge difference/improvement on the sound and feel of the shot. Good luck and let us know how it goes!

IMO, all the comments and basically whining about a NAKED bow vibration, hand shock etc etc is not relevant. EVERYONE will add stabs, sights and maybe a quiver which will mitigate nearly all the perceived vibration issues. How many archers are gonna go out to shoot and just wait for that shock instead of concentrating on the shot? None. Wanna complain about something? It’s the lack of bow availability after every bow company drops the new stuff. So there’s a new bow and now you can wait till next fall to get it. Left hand shooters go to the bottom of the pile every year.

Hey Tim thanks for watching! We have been thinking and talking about this issue quite a bit lately. When the indoor season comes around we start working on the target side of the coin. When we shoot the target bows hand shock and vibration is significantly more noticeable. That vibration has zero affect on the accuracy. We agree that a good hunting bow needs to be quite and vibration and noise go hand in hand but as priority, accuracy is number one on our list. Sorry about the lefty issues, I can only imagine your frustrations. Stay tuned, we might be filming a gripe session about the 2023 bow drop!

I have a inline 3 and totally agree. The hold/shot feels great but there are days that I just can’t shoot it well. Miscues on my part seen to be magnified more than with other bows I’ve shot (like the revolt x). Do you have any opinions on the Revex yet?
@brosbeforebowshunting
@brosbeforebowshunting Жыл бұрын
Hey thanks for watching and commenting! The more I work with the inline the more ideas I have about the reasons it may be less forgiving for me and my shot process. One thing that I have noticed is that I use a tension style release, with the limb stop only on the bottom limb it might exaggerate differences in tension in the back wall when the shot breaks. In my opinion this can be a source of variation grip pressure and inconsistency. I have not yet had the chance to shoot the revex, but I think that having cable stops on both cams is definitely a step in the right direction. I’m not a fan of draw specific mods, but if the bow performs, I will put up with that hassle. Stay tuned, we plan on doing a video with our thoughts and opinions on the 2023 bows!

To be honest we have had very limited experience with bowtech, but we might be taking a look at the sx 80 if we get a chance! Tune ability and adjustability are super high on our priority list and Bowtech definitely has both!

@@brosbeforebowshunting to be honest, after having deadlock technology and then not having it, I’ll only be buying Bowtech from here on out. At least for my hunting rig.

Picked up your comment about busting arrows and nocks on some days and not on other days. I believe that 99% of the time a correctly set up bow and arrow combination will keep that tune for quite a while. My Ritual 33 stays tuned for literally hundreds and hundreds of shots. I think it’s the shooter. We all have better days where everything just clicks along so dang well. And lo and behold, the next afternoon you’re going WTH ? You start looking at the bow, sight etc. It’s the shooter lol. Just saying.
@brosbeforebowshunting
@brosbeforebowshunting Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and commenting, I agree that for the most part the variation occurs with the shooter. However their are some attributes of this bow that I believe make it “less forgiving”. The limb stop one only one cam, when there is a slight variation of tension in the back wall at the release of the arrow. In my opinion this can cause different amounts of nock travel. It also can create different amounts of torque created or transferred to the grip. Like I said before, I definitely have things that I need to improve on, but there are also some bows that are more forgiving than others. Thanks for the input!!

Thanks for watching, the inline is a bit louder than the other bows from that year. I purchased a string stop from Hi tek archery called the sand trap. It completely changed and dampened the noise at the shot.

Hey Larry thanks for watching! A few months ago we did a direct comparison video where I compared them head to head. I should have put a link somewhere in this video. If you scroll through our content you will see the first prime inline video. I think the black five would have been the better comparison. I think it was a combination of all of the things that I didn’t like about this bow that made it more difficult to shoot consistently. The grip, the brace height, and the back wall characteristics. That being said, the inline is a great bow! Thanks for taking the time to comment and stay tuned for more videos!
