Most of it is misleading, because every dollar collected from carbon tax is returned in rebates, it is wealth redistribution based on emissions.

When Trudeau offers more “credits” he must realize the financial cost of administering such programs, just to send Canadian rare cheques that wouldn’t cover a tank of gas nor half a Costco bill. Why not cancel tax increases, this creates zero additional administrative costs and Canadians end up with more money to put back into the economy. This system of issuing “credits” is such a waste.

It's refreshing to hear a leader talk about rural Newfoundland, especially seniors. I live in rural Newfoundland, and I can assure you, most seniors simply can't afford this increase to their home heating. Most are just getting by, and certainly can't afford to upgrade their homes from oil to electric, even with the subsidies.

51 countries have cut taxes in some way even just a little. Canada raised carbon tax the raised others and have more increase planned. The government added 40k government jobs but service went down and their salaries increased.

He wants to force Canada into an energy crisis like Germany is facing. Once the Liberals declare the false Energy Crisis they will use this event to spend more money uncontrollably, just as the did after declaring the pandemic emergency. Trudeau wants to keep dividing Canadians and manufacture one crisis after another to justify the massive spending and debt. Liberals look at the Debt to GDP ratio like the remaining balance on a Credit Cards, they think the remaining debt load limit is their to spend, in reality, they are spending away the countries future!

Well you're actually not to far off. Per the Magna Carta, income tax is fundamentally unconstitutional and theft. It was brought in during WW1 to pay for the war effort and then rescinded. And then brought in for WW2 and we forgot to rescind it.

I too am a small business owner (seasonal) and was completely shut down for my whole season 2020. I did get relief but I say you are better off because my 2021 year wasn't great and not enough profit to pay the loans back. Staff shortages 2021 were hard, this year was brutal! No one wants to work or they dictate what they are willing to show up for! I had to increase my base wage (I already paid more than minimum wage) and offer a shift premium (after midnight). The shift premiums and overtime (because other staff didn't show up or quit) has crippled me. I may not be able to cover my obligations and it's questionable if I will make it to next year.

not at all, PP voted against dental care, against $10/day daycare, against CCB (which is like thousands of dollars per child). He also voted against the last tax change that lowered income tax for everyone and added a new tax bracket at $250k+ to pay for it, etc... PP isn't actually for the working class, he just points out things that are bad right now, with no suggestions on how to improve them. But he does it in a very smart way to make it sounds like he's rallying with the working class over their current struggles.
