This is really valuable information. I respect Mr Daljit Chabra for educating us on such an important topic. But it is really easy to sit on a tv show and advice people what to do and what not to do. The way he talks, he makes things look so easy. However, the reality is far different. When you go to India and deal with the judiciary only then you come to know how impossible it is to get any clerical work done.

Need to double check - TCS is 20% on entire amount wef 1.7.2023. And condition of 182 days stay in India for NRIs to get Adhaar has been removed.

Your talk on TCS @20% watched by me today had two big mistakes. The limit of Rs.700000 is no more. The limit has been abolished. Earlier also TCS @5% was deducted only on amount above 7 lakhs. Please check

@@Worldwidevirk Sir five zero after 7. Good joke. It is 7 lakhs . The limit has been abolished in the new budget. Earlier if you remitted Rs 8 lakhs, 5% was deducted on one lakh only. Under the new budget it will be 20% on the whole amount. You seem to be interested in the matter. Will like to remain in touch with you Mr. Virk.

Thanks Bath Sahib for this very informative episode. One of issue, I have faced here as an NRI is that every one asks for Aadaar Card even when there is no reason for it. Something like getting a local mobile phone SIM card, which one technically can get by showing there foreign passport but no shop sells it without Aadaar card.

I was in India last year and Suvidha center people said you can’t apply fo PAN if you don’t have Adhar card. But NRI can’t get Adhar card unless he stays in India for more than six months.Can you clear this issue please.

Kang Saab Suvida Center employees not trained for income tax related service ,, Yes NRI can apply pan you can simply apply on Income Tax Website and pan card will be deliver on your foreigner Address. and this category pan only need your foreigner documents like Passport or OCI, or your other ID,,, AADHAR card is mandatory for ONLY Indian Residents.
