About The Boys: THE BOYS is an irreverent take on what happens when superheroes, who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians and as revered as Gods, abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. It's the powerless against the super powerful as The Boys embark on a heroic quest to expose the truth about “The Seven,” and their formidable Vought backing.

it's really interesting how he seems to change over the course of the show; season 1, he seemed dangerous in a nearly composed way with an underlying barely restrained danger but a capacity to remain calculating when needed. Eh not really. Anthony is the only irreplaceable part of the show. Lose literally any other character, and the show is just as good. He was the perfect casting for the lynchpin of the entire series.

@@elvergazo2131 yeah I’m not doubting that. I didn’t say he’s not the best in the show, I agree with that. I said he doesn’t carry the show, he’s great but there’s other really good actors contributing to this show. Go drool somewhere else other than the comment section of this video.

I don't think he lost his cool at 2:17 That seemed like a show for the others: by Homelander showing caution with Starlight, he implies that he's dangerous to them.

I'm still waiting for the day when he completely loses it. Was expecting it last season so can see it definitely happening next season especially as he's in trouble for killing that civilian in public.

I love all these scenes that they selected, but what I love more is the scenes that they cut away from that actually sells the 'loosing.' Pretty masterful really to get people to watch it I suspect.

Although I despise the character, the actor always gives a top-notch performance. He really embodies Homelander. Not to mention the writing on this show is brilliant and the cast is fuckin phenomenal. Gen V was a nice appetizer though. It's something to hold us over until next year. I can't wait to see what they have planned for next season.

The look in his eyes, the grunt in his voice, this guy is owning this role real hard. I saw a interview of the cast and when the question "Who is most like their onscreen character" came up, they all instantly looked at Anthony. Wich is disturbing for a few reasons

People dont realise the amount of self restraint homelander has. Its his want for love fron the masses that makes him weak. If he didnt depend on that, everyone would be fucked.
