Jeremiah is more likable except for in book 3 and Taylor wasn’t a main character, more like a reoccurring side character

I am confused at how is he more likeable in the books . I found him incredibly likeable in the series he was fun and incredibly kind to belly apart from maybe some light teasing here and there. I also really liked how responsible and reliable he was despite the party goer overly flirtatious type that he is, which stereotypically are seen as overly reckless and untrutworthy, so that was pretty refreshing.

Anyone notice how Conrad sees Belly in the itsy bikini and immediately looks away because he's embarrassed at checking her out that way, like a regular girl instead of the kid he's grown up with? Then she covers herself with her hair as she feels self-conscious too when he looks at her that way; when she's not at all self-conscious with Jeremiah?

No offense but like the volleyball wasn’t hard. Either it was she just had her braids done and ofc when you have your braids done it’s hurts a little, so when the ball hit her head it must’ve hurt bc of the braids or, she was exaggerating because the ball didn’t look like a volleyball.
