@@EveraWillard1326 but some times, with the actors you cast, you realize that certain changes need to happen. Especially with a book written so long ago. I wish the endgame would change, but I don’t see it happening. But it’s not completely out there given TVD. In the books Elena was so clearly skewed to Stefan and that’s who she ended up with. But in the show, bc of the chemistry between Nina and Ian, and bc the show was ended so much later than the first book was released, things were updated and Elena and Damon got together. So you never know.

When I read these books as a teen, I was Team Conrad cos he was all "moody and cool". But as an adult watching this series - Jeremiah is literally husband material and the only option! Being in love with your best friend is such a blessing. Friendships are the best foundation for a solid relationship. (And this actor is way too handsome!) Thanks for this edit - it was super cute.

That's an interesting statement. I am reading the books after watching the two seasons. Gavin makes Jeremiah so likeable and he has a fun and passionate chemistry with Lola. There is a rumour that the actors are dating, but it could be because they have such great chemistry even off set. To me though I can't resist the sweet and tender love between Belly and Conrad.

They actually have more chemistry than belly and conrad, there relationship was not built on tension and awkward silences, they are comfortable and just so natural, it wasn’t forced or anything and I hope Jenny Han doesn’t pursue the character assassination of Jeremiah in season 3.

LITERALLY!!! and omg for sure. the kisses with conrad were soooo awk and was so show-like, it just wasnt real. but the kisses with jeremiah are so real and raw and they both seem so much happier together!! istg if the do character assassinate him they are going to have to pay for my therapy bills. as well making an alternate ending where jelly happens bc i cant die happy unless i see it😫🙏🙏

As an teenager u would choose Conrad bc u think he’s so mysterious, like masculine and cool but as an adult you would definitely choose Jeremiah. He isn’t only best friend vibes but also husband material, he is supportive, emotional available. He cares for other people not always put himself first & loves deeply on another level. He is very mature & understand belly’s feelings and that’s the most important thing in a relationship. I can’t help myself but just smirk when I see them, it reminds me of an teenager love but also an adult love at once & that’s how love should feel like.

Exactly this. The author and I are the same age. She wrote this at 29 and is now 43. I absolutely know from my own life why Conrad was endgame in the books when she wrote them, but Jeremiah is who you look back at with the life experience and realize is the right choice. Jeremiah isn't the dream, he's the reality. He's the one showing up, he's the one that feels easy, he's the one the doesn't run or hide from emotions, he's the one that plays and laughs, he's the one that knows himself and feels secure in who he is, he's the one insisting that things be handled with maturity and respect. I understand the author's choice with Conrad, but I hope with everything she'll look back with all that life experience since then and realize that's not the story she wants to tell now. These 3 have more growing to do and drama that can unfold without destroying the healthier more mature relationship in the end.

I don't know but even if I am a teenager I am always team Jeremiah. I just love the way he loves her and how he always puts her first. You are also right coz condrad is teenage fairytale crush you dream of. But Jeremiah is the person you will fall for and live rest of life with. Its just my opinion tho no hate to anyone.

I was surprised that I became such a team Jeremiah person. I usually am drawn to the complex male leads who are more enigmatic like Conrad, because there's so much there to explore, but Conrad just . . . bothered me. He's got some healing that needs to be done before he's relationship ready. Jeremiah was incredibly mature and had fantastic communication skills. And he honored the people around him so well. Yup. Safe to say I walked away from season 2 very happy.

the epicness of the music to show us the epicness of their journey so far.. i love their story so much. the bff to lovers trope will always be my favorite, but they take the trope to another level. they can communicate their feelings and be vulnerable with eachother without fear, the he fall first but she fall harder.. the stability, the how easy is for them to be together but also having so much fun and so much passion! I haven't read the books but I've seen both seasons 3 times... This video totally demonstrates why they are perfect for each other. I just hope they don't make Jeremiah the bad guy in season 3, because I'm just going to stop watching. If they transform him that way, it's just to justify putting Belly with Conrad. The series is the series, the books are the books. During the two seasons I fell in love with this couple, their chemistry is so strong that it jumps off the screen, the looks, the kisses, every touch, it's surreal. And that doesn't happen at all with Conrad. When I was Belly's age, I also had a Conrad and a Jeremiah in my life (they weren't brothers, not in that sense) but in which one was very bad for me psychologically, and the other was a safe haven, my best friend. Although my first love was a "Conrad", and I had been in love with him for years, he didn't do me any good, and I later saw that there was no future for the two of us. I chose my best friend, who I was falling in love with, and to this day it's been 12 years, married with a child. I think that's why I love this series, and why I love Belly and Jeremiah so much, they're so cute together! I just hope they don't break up.

@@hi_itsgabriella I have my issues with her too, BUT I’m also trying to take into account that she’s pretty young, and has not had boys interested in her before, so this is all very new and overwhelming to her. When I first started dating, I definitely was not good at it, and I made a lot of mistakes, hurt several people. But I learned and grew from those experiences, and they’ve made me a better person, and a better partner as well.😊 I’m trying to look at Belly through that lens. She’s just trying to figure it all out😊

I love this so much! Team Jelly for life! I hate that they dont end up together in the books and I dont think they will change it for the show but dang I wish they would!!!! This is what a real relationship should be!
