I liked season 2 but you make a good point.

He's a lonewolf but you need to realise he was in the army , if you're in the army you're not a lonewolf, you're in there for a few years so you develop a family, if you don't realise this you need to read more

@@Loganwolfen I was in the army once, so I understand precisely how the military can feel like an extended family. It's one of the things I miss about it. But my point was that for many in the audience, the most appealing aspect of Reacher is when he is a fish out of water, not when he's the leader of a school of sharks. For me, I liked seeing Reacher disconcert people with his moral clarity and purpose which is more evident when he is by himself. Interesting as his team was, Reacher is plenty entertaining by himself.

The books dictate the results we see. All I know, is that we need WAY more guys like Reacher if we want our country back.

If this season was a lone wolf type of thing that wouldn’t have made sense to me and the reason being is his friends were killed and they were the friends of his costars. Being said if he didn’t have the help of three others yes it might have been a better season but it would have made less sense due to the family aspect of it

This is the real book version, which makes it all the more awesome. Tom is Hollywood trying to cash in w a superstar actor. Reacher is supposed to be this huge 6 ft 5 in dude whereas Tom is a laughable 5'7"

My idea is, while Tom Cruise is a great, highly skilled actor who deserves all his great success, for he's a monster in delivering both line and expression all with great attitude, well his Reacher of course lack the height and the beef, and that's fair, but even more that that I'd say it's too sophisticated. One great appeal point of the original is, Jack Reacher is a simple beast. As Dillon says "honest, direct and well reasoned". Basically, Reacher is a mama's boy devoted to "do the right thing". Not a simpleton, he's brilliant of course, yet very simple. Logical, clear, and all. A no-nonsense guy. A is A, B is B, good is good, bad is bad, period. That's a big part of his character and his appeal. He's pretty much as some kind of super avenger boy scout.

Unlikely to happen. Oddly many fans of Reacher and the books prefer the lone wolf version which aligns more w the books. And Alan hinted s3 gonna go back to its roots. So lone wolf bad ass roaming around finding trouble and taking care of said trouble in the most efficient and brutal way possible.

Certainly! These books had me up reading till morning. Sadly my friend who introduced me to the novels died tragically. And he was a big guy too. But after drinking ( he could out down beers with the best) late one night he drove off a cliff. Never lived to see or hear about the movie and series. RIP Jason. But thanks.

Nah. Not true. I watched all the clips from season one here on youtube, then binge watched the entire series on amazon prime and was not disappointed. You don't get the full feel of the movie without the context behind each action scene.

I agree, it was too quick of a resolution Spoilers Finding out Swan was just a finger and eyeball after hyping him up the whole season felt like a load of "meh" The characters didn't really seem like they cared tbh
