Outstanding 👍 Any wrapped joint, especially a hook can be vastly enhanced by coating it in pine tar resin. I love my Surge for the T shank adaptor jigsaw blades and the awl !!

Yeah if there are pine trees in the area, which I don't have in my area. Yeah I like the Surge for the ability to remove the file to sharpen the blade, but I would like a fixed (non removable) wood/bone saw on it. I also like the scissors on the Surge more than on my Wave Plus.

Nice video! I haven’t had the chance to work with any bamboo, yet. I’ve heard it’s a great multi-purpose material and I just got to see why. Keep them coming 👍👍

Cheers mate. Just a hot tip if you ever get to work with bamboo. When you split it the edges are razor sharp.

@@kennywheelus6857 Smart move mate. I get a feeling a lot of people buy gear that looks good (and maybe is good) but they fail to use it or even learn much about using it.

@@kennywheelus6857 Yep lots of that online. I generally don't do review videos or unboxings as you would expect things to be good when they are brand new. The review I did for the Silky Gomboy I did after using it extensively and showed some of that in the video to show I had actually used it. I think at this stage I've only done one unboxing video which was the recurve bow I bought. But it felt really strange doing that video and I haven't been keen to make that style of video even though I know they are popular and get lots of views I just feel strange trying to do them myself.

Yes it is mate. Added tweezers to it, made a chisel and gouge as well on it.

@@RobsBushcraftandAdventures because I've been looking for while now for a good multitool but can't decide on what to get. And the wave plus looks really good, it's gonna be mainly used for outdoors stuff like bush craft and camping, I do however not like the glasses screw thingy, feel like they could have put something else there instead.

@@denaxil9012 Look at the Surge mate. I've never owned one and don't know if you can put tweezers into them easily like you can with a Wave Plus but being able to remove the file to sharpen your knife is a plus and also I think the scissors are better on the Surge. If I apply for and get on Alone (TV show) I'd be taking a Surge.

@@RobsBushcraftandAdventures yeah okay, I'll think about it. The issue with the surge though, I want everything in a complete package, don't want to have to carry the saw in the pouch or something. Because I need a saw and a file and having that in a complete package in my pocket is much nicer in my opinion

@@denaxil9012 yeah very true. With my set up I carry a file for a Surge in the pouch my Wave + is in for sharpening the knife which works well.
