U can also use the car sponge in the automotive section in dollar tree and cut into chunks

To make it easier. Put your sponge pieces in a zip lock bag,add the grunge and mix grunge and sponges in bag open bag pour and sgueeze spnges to get extra fluid out. Time saver. Can't wait to make and could use same method for a lattice cherry pie. Fun. Thanks

Gerbil bedding pellets are great for peanuts. I used them on some fake bake candy apples.

How do you keep the lattice from pulling away from the crust? Mine always breaks away at the seam.
