Including Prince Andrew, who was a Navy pilot, if I remember correctly. I hold no brief for Andrew whatsoever, BTW but I was very surprised that Emily Maitlis didn't recognise it. Portions of this phrase have been the titles of at least two Hollywood movies, after all...
