Şehzade Süleyman, en yakın adamı Pargalı İbrahim ile birlikte çıktığı bir avda alır kötü haberi. Babası Yavuz Sultan Selim Han vefat etmiştir. Şehzade Süleyman hiç beklemeden, İstanbul’a doğru yola çıkar. Şehzade Süleyman hızla payitahta ulaşır. Hiç beklemeden cülus törenine katılır. Bir günde hayatı değişmiş. Sultan Süleyman olarak padişahlık hayatına başlamıştır.

Alex, tüm isyankarlığına rağmen, Topkapı sarayına getirilir. Onun bu tavrı ilk andan itibaren Valide Sultan’ın dikkatini çeker. Ama Alex’in sarayın kurallarını öğrenmesi uzun sürmez. Mmm, really feel bad for Suleyman. He seem to really love and care for his children, but the idea of his sons rising against him really scared him. Same for Mustafa, I'm sure he loves his father and siblings alot, but the pressure to become the next Sultan made him make bad decisions and follow bad advice.

@@kanikagaral7637 hurrem would have never supported Mustafa...she would have made one of her son sultan...both mahidevran and hurrem were fighting for survival...they didn't have any identify without the Sultan...all other princes will be killed when one of them ascend the throne.

Brotherly love that their parents had to destroy due to ego & deep hatred playing stupid unfair politics. Suleiman , Hurrem & Mahiverdan could have made a polygamous union worked if Suleiman was fair by marrying them both and banning fractcide laws.

He wasnt allowed to marry multiple wives. And it was not allowed for him to marry a slave, he freed Hurrem long before he married her. And the fratricide rule was rarely enforced because women were only supposed to bear 1 child to the Sultan, so Mahi and Hurrem should have been allowed 1 child each. @@apollomommy7364 He likes to yap on how he is such an upstanding Muslim and ruler of 3 continents . Why didn't he free Mahi and marry as well. Why can't an Ottoman King/Sultan marry 2 -4 wives if one of his ancestors did it for the preservation of the Empire? He was the one that pitted those 2 against each other. Mahi wouldn't have been that bitter if she was freed and married to another man . But Suleiman was like a spoilt child with his toys and power. He caved into Hurrem like she was the only one that existed . Polygamy can be a double edged sword for some families.

It makes perfect sense, a ruler is allowed to take the life of rebellious prince's along with those that pose a threat to the ruler's reign. Sure the ruler needs a fatwa from the Sheikh ul islam for this before he can kill a prince. However this Law ensures peace and stability in the Land by making sure rebellion does not occur. A ruler will always protect his throne, and has the right to do so.

Even the youngest Cihangir knew more about what and how to talk in front of Suleiman more than Mustafa. They learned from their mum. Poor Mustafa took after Mahidevran in this.

Sweet and sentimental fluff, but totally untrue. Cihagir was a toddler when Mustafa left Topkopi, so he had no opportunity to get close to him growing up. Cihangir was very close to his father, mother and full siblings, but not Mustafa. To say he would turn on his parents or that he died of grief over Mustafa's death for treason was also fiction. Cihangar had a severe spinal deformity, and ailments related to it, his entire life. That is why he stayed in the palace to be near the best doctors. It most likely caused damage to his internal organs, such as his kidneys and heart. His condition worsened when he rode horseback, and he rode to campaign with his father, and afterwards fell ill.
