Prince in the 80's man!! Michael gave us 3 huge events but Prince hit us every year with WTF?? ! moments lol. We were always shocked and then we just gave in and said "hey, its Prince" what'd you expect?. He trained us for the outside the box.

MOREEEE WE NEED MOREEEEE oh and he did way more sexy naughty songs but he also id every other genre and killed it!! He proved he was the MASTER of any music even wrote is own Play, Opera & created his own orchestra to write music for his wedding… always aiming to produce something for broadway ultimately . He also created an instrumental orchestral piece for his first wife a ballet dancer that was a story of love between a rock star and a ballerina - Prince & Mayte…. Not just a rock star - he did all genres .. oh and of course play all the instruments on his albums many times in almost the entire album, wrote the entire albums, Produced and arranged and so on , not t mention the best live performer of a generation the man WAS (and always will be) MUSIC PERSONIFIED!

At the last part of the song, the woman is just watching him, and then when he builds towards his climax, he asks her to help him. After his climax, he feels cold, and asks her to hold him. Yeah, spicey.

I thought her version was the original when it came out and my mom laughed uncontrollably and said Prince did it when I was around 10 but I wasn't allowed to listen to it back then. Melissa version came out when I was 16.

This is going to be reaaaaaally fun to watch. 😂 This may be actually the most sensual song ever recorded. Well it was! The fan part made me laugh so hard. The end is epic in terms of expressivity. Else he was a really good actor, else he was having a fun time all alone in the recording studio. I must admit he’s giving me wild thought here, that voice is incredibly enticing. If you want to listen to something absolutely harmless, nothing sexual, you can try to listen to those, depending if you want to smile or get depressed (no traps, I swear) "Starfish and coffee". It’s about children at school and especially those who are outside the box. ”Sometimes it snows in April” is a very great song a but you’ll need a tissue. Maybe his saddest song. ” Condition of the heart” has also a non spicy content. " Ronnie talk to Russia", "Party up", " Annie Christian", ”Dear mister Man” are political/social songs if you want to hear another side of his work, not about sex or religion this time. The man could also write something without any hint of spicyness. Sometimes. Rarely.😅

@@Starr-Child I can relate... this one and International Lover are kind of the two sides of a coin to me. Usually, when I listen to one, I also listen to the other right after. And the first take for International lover is stellar : piano, drum and normal range voice. And to hear him laughing while playing and giving the " instructions" is a treat. I could have fallen head over heels for him, just hearing his laughter while recording... if it was not already the case . Here also , one can hear a bit auf laughter and speaking voice, they got me every time. Every single time. Now, I would like to see our Jay reacting to the stage version, the one from 1982.. in black and white (and I’m sure you all giggle with anticipation. Sensual, funny and that lovely shy smile... ultimate combo 😏)

If you think this is raunchy, try Darling Nikki - the video version from the movie Purple Rain. It’s about the devil trying to seduce him but a girl named Nikki is used as a euphemism. I always liked the spoken word intro to Let’s Go Crazy too, and the extended version of Computer Blue. The hallway version. Prince had some wild songs. “Wendy?” “Yes, Lisa.” “Is the water warm enough?” “Yes, Lisa.” “Shall we begin?” “Yes, Lisa.” Pretty suggestive. But it has very religious undertones too. Prince liked to mix raunchy songs with very religious themed songs. If you’re in a very conservative household, often you have warped ideas about sex. I was living proof for a long time. Lots of hang ups.

Yes and I totally loved it but every time I watch the 1985 live version, It reminds me how totally blown away I was the first time I saw it. What he did that night was pure magic. When he counted to Three and began what was and still is one of the best guitar solos I had ever heard. I mean as a young aspiring musician, It literally brought me to tears.

See when an artists is truly great his music will cross racial and social lines all over the world. Me and none of my friends were listening to Bob Dylan hell we didn't listen to the Beatles. Bob Dylan's music was not being played on R&B radio stations in America and neither were the Beatles music, but Prince and MJ's music were being played on R&B and Pop stations all over America.

too funny....and not even close to being his most sauciest song, especially back in his first several albums that had some serious raw blatant unapologetic sexual force behind them which is what made them so great. He toned it down in the following years after becoming a Jehovah Witness but that didnt take away from his genius..just redirected the focus a bit
