Think about how he sang and performed at age 10 in the Jackson 5… he was way better than any 10 year olds STILL to this day. So he would’ve still blown once he got older close to as big as he was and with the creative genius mind he had, would’ve naturally adapted to todays musical and entertainment standards. He would’ve still been a huge icon and influence.

I grew up to MJ. I carried my Michael Jackson, Doll and Thriller VHS everywhere I went. That was my security. MJ literally taught me how to dance and sing. I spent most of my childhood with him. I wish I would've had the honor of meeting him. RIP, King.

Michael Jackson became world famous without the internet. He hit every note before auto tune was invented. His dancing alone could have made him stand out as having almost a supernatural ability. But with his voice, soul and obsessive drive to give himself over to his fans so completely, there’s never been a combination like that in pop music. He literally died for his art. And his art was pop music. That title just can’t be applied anywhere else without misunderstanding what an unusual lightening rod of a person MJ was and is.

He is really following in his dad's footsteps, getting into charity work at such a young age when rich kids nowadays only care about their cars, house, clothes and being famous for being famous. My favorite memory is me and my daughter going on a cruise and on the upper deck there was a class teaching people the " Thriller" dance my daughter was so excited and had to be upfront for this dance. it's a great memory and every time I think of thriller I think of my daughter learning that dance with the biggest smile on her face. MJ raised amazing children. He was the King of parenting too, despite all his struggles and detractors. His kids have survived so much and still have his beautiful heart and intelligent mind

One of the many reasons only Michael Jackson can be the King of Pop is no other artist has impacted the entire world in so many fields simultaneously. Sure, there are many other great artists but they aren’t known in every part of the world; from the jungles along the Amazon River to small villages in Africa. Show them Michael Jackson’s photo and they instantly recognise him. So I agree with Prince Jackson, other artists can, and do, excel in their field but none match Michael Jackson’s legacy - his music, dance or even fashion. He is the definition of iconic.
