I danced this 40 years ago when I was a teenager. I did not realize that this is the cries of an early and forced marriage girl, but not just a matter of choice... I hope that one day, young girls will no longer dance when a girl child is crying. Her voice is the one of a girl child forced to early and abusive marriage. I also hope that there will no longer be men such as Mr jo or fathers that expect to receive some gogo... Happy New year for all those girl children that where abducted and forced into abusive marriage. Nico is a brilliant Ambassador for life to stop early and abusive marriages in Africa.

Yeah, actually the cry of a child bride. The cry of a young girl who was forced to marry a man because that was the choice of the parents and not out of love Hmmmm

HALIMA

However, if a mother or father tries to intervene on the basis of pure hatred for a certain tribe, then their intervention should be rebuffed and ignored!! In too many cases, an Igbo boy, for example, who has lived in Benin-City all his life is forced and cajoled by his parents (because of tribal pressure) to marry an Igbo girl he does not know or love, rather than the bini girl he has known and loved for over 10 years!!! Is this fair?

My brother, If you are a victim, you better stick to your choice. Your parents will not live with you forever. If you marry their choice, after their death, you will face reality. I am a victim of such. Wise up.
