Did Princess Alice die due to a ‘Kiss of Death’ from her son? Princess Alice, the second daughter of Queen Victoria, had the most tragic life out of her daughters and died at the very young age of 35, leaving 5 of her seven children to the care of her husband and Queen Victoria. For this reason, she also brought Victoria her most beautiful and favorite granddaughters, Victoria, Ella, Irene, and Alix, whom we will present in future videos.
This video is about the sad life and tragic death of Princess Alice, Grand Duchess Hesse and Second Daughter of Queen Victoria.

Princess Alice of the United Kingdoms (1843-1878) was the second daughter of Queen Victoria, who was known to aspire to follow Florence Nightingale as a nurse.
Her first tragedy struck six months before her marriage when Prince Albert fell fatally ill and died in December 1861.
Princess Alice married Louis IV, the Grand Duke of Hesse and By Rhine. Her life in Darmstadt was relatively impoverished, but they had six beautiful children.
When Hesse became involved in the Austro-Prussian War, the heavily pregnant Alice devoted much of her time to managing field hospitals and treating soldiers in Darmstadt.
In 1573, her second tragedy struck when her youngest son, Fredrich, fell from a window and died as he could not heal due to Hemophilia.
Then in 1578, all her children contracted Diphtheria during an outbreak in Darmstadt, when her youngest daughter Princess Marie choked to Death on 16th November 1878.
Princess Alice nursed and consoled her other children after they learned of Marie’s Death. She kissed her son, Ernest Louis, to calm and comfort him.
A few days later, Princess Alice began showing signs of Diphtheria infection and died at 35 on 14th December 1878, exactly 17 years after Albert’s Death.

Princess Alice was the second daughter of Queen Victoria. She was known to be the most independent and interested in nursing. Although her life in Darmstadt was relatively impoverished by the royal standard, she lived well and had seven beautiful children. However, tragedy struck. She lost her youngest hemophiliac son, Prince Friedrich, due to a fall, and then her youngest daughter, Princess Marie, choked to death due to Diphtheria. While she was nursing her other children, who also contracted Diphtheria during the outbreak, she contracted Diphtheria herself and died at the young age of 35. What will happen to her remaining children?

We fully agree with Alice as the kind princess, you may also like some of our two videos on her daughter, Elizabeth, who inherited her devotion to kindness.

If Alice had lived, she would have made greater choices for her daughters in terms of marriage. Her two daughters wouldn’t have died in the Revolution if they married Russians.

That is true. However, I believe Queen Victoria had wanted both Elizabeth and Alix to marry someone else (primarily German Princes). Still, they both rejected it, or Elizabeth would have been the last Empress of Germany. We are working on each of their stories individually and are thoroughly fascinated by them. We hope to upload their videos soon and hope you will like them.

How could she live impoverished when her mother was Queen Victoria ❤

Impoverished in royal terms, and once she is married, she is the monarch of her husband's kingdom and they do run their own household, I believe Queen Victoria does take care of her children after she died early.
