Did you leave the stock stinger and just added another rudder to the left side?

Wazz, I have the same boat, looking to do the same conversion, I have an idea how to do it, adding a matching rudder on the left.

Looking at the same upgrade for my Princess, having matching turning radius both left & right. Does it still run well @ full throttle?

Yes, it runs great on full throttle. But the dual rudder was installed to correct the problems of turning left.

Did you have to change the servo due to the increased force needed to control the twin rudders?

NO, it´s the stock servo

Hello David, the upgrade was home made. But you can find dual rudder´s on ebay.

What electronics are you using inside the boat ?

Motor: 36-60 size 1604kv Watercooled brushless (nought with the model, stock) ESC: Turnigy Marine 180A BEC Waterproof Speed Controller

I would have converted to sub-drive rather than twin rudders.

paulkazjack, OK. But it will be more expensive and you will need to change the transmission. And it will lose speed....
