The App is good fun Rein. I saw someone say that if you order something and then move they will still find you. We did mean to try this but never did. If you get the chance it would be good to know though.

P.S. What was your procedure for Covid tests? We have RAT test at home aso we can easily just do one each on the day of, or night before embarkation. It's a bit of a grey area on the actual procedure...

Hi Rein. Look forward to your report back on the drinks tracking. As for RATs, you have to do them within 24 hours of boarding and get a negative result. You do not take the actual result to the port but have to attest to a negative result on the App and it also asks you to upload a picture of it as evidence. One of ours worked and the other would not upload so we just took the pics with us on the phones and also a printed copy. No-one asked to see them though. Happy cruising.

@@robandalicruisetravel Quick update for you. Ordered coffees at the pool deck, then ran to the lotus basketball court and they delivered the coffees. Ordered some toasty sandwiches at the Lido deck and then ran down to the theatre and they delivered the sandwiches. It seems that you can order from anywhere and they’ll track you down! 😂 👍🏻

Hi Bindi Lou. We would tend to agree with you. Ali's parents are late 80s and are pretty savvy with tech but they have only recently got smart phones and I think some of this might frustrate them. It's a good job that you don't actually need to use it though and can just order things in the good old traditional face to face way if you want.

Just hope other passengers are paicent and help these people

The crew on board and at reception desk are fantastic and they helped us out a few times without making us feel that we should have known how to do things.

Hi Juju. Thanks for dropping by and for your lovely comment. We have another video coming out later today. Spoiler alert, it's from Sabatini's/Alfredo's on board. All prices on board are in Australian dollars and the wristband was $17 Australian dollars, makes it easier than trying to convert. As for the colour that depends on your status level. Ali had a red one because she has Ruby status. Other status levels have different colours, for example Elites are black. Also, and I don't think it shows this in the video, each medallion has your name on it, the name of the ship and the date of the cruise so it's a great little souvenir to take home. If you're cruising soon we hope you have a fantastic time.

We are off next month on our first Princess cruise ..... thank you for explaining the meanings of the different colour medallions.....I would probably be confused seeing people wearing different coloured ones.
