We sailed to the Norwegian Fjords onboard Sky Princess in June 2022 - in this teaser video, we comer some of the highlights.

About Us
We started cruising in 2014 by doing a mini break on P&O Aurora. Making videos of our cruises and sharing our experiences has become our hobby, they may not be to everyone's tastes but they are our way of remembering the great times we've had, so please keep this in mind - we are not professionals and the complete video is shot and edited on an iPhone in our spare time. The videos are our opinions and experiences while on board.
We may not be the youngest cruisers but we are trying to break the stereotype that cruising is for retired people. On a cruise you will normally find us wondering around the ship taking in the atmosphere (and working our way through the cocktails). Make sure follow us on social media, the links are below.

You where so lucky with weather ,just back from Iona weather in fjords awful 2 ports cancelled ,set sail at 2 AM from Southampton due to weather , beautiful ship and country 😍

Me and my wife recently took a cruise with Princess on the Regal. I watched all your vlog's about the ship and really enjoyed them. You recommended the 24 carat gold margarita so we both tried one and they were gorgeous. Needless to say we had several each day. Keep up the good work.

Just got off the Island Princess on our cruise to the Land of the Midnight Sun! Loved Norway and so happy we had amazing weather! Lovely cruise ports have been to Norway but not to the fjords reminds me of Milford Sound South Island in New Zealand we have cruised many times on Princess from Sydney. Love your posts a month till our first cruise in 2yrs 4mths looking forward to it but nervous

Oh, you must revisit and head to the fjords, beautiful! Milford Sound is on our bucket list as we've seen video and photos and it looks fab. It will be great to step back on a ship, it will be worth the wait and we guarantee it will feel slightly emotional, it did for us as we hadn't waited as long.

Certainly do a Northern Lights cruise and a Midnight Sun one going right up to Longyearbyen amazing scenery. We are on Sky next year doing Iceland and Norway, a repeat itinerary for us.

Hi Guys, lovin your clip, your food always looks fab, I never know what to order. Any suggestions for Sindhu and the olive grove. Help me out!! I always go for something that's familiar at home. We only have 33 sleeps until were off on the iona.🤣🤣Thanks guys Sue

Thank you! Have a great time on Iona! Make sure you book the olive grove early. So much good food! The kebab was good along with the baklava! The lamb in Sindhu is good, but if they still do it, try the signature plate to get selection of 3 small curries.

Love it, I came of the sky princess the day you guys got on, it was a great cruise but the service, buffet food and layout of the ship wasn't good for me.

We understand where your coming from there, we like a proper buffet and as good as the international cafe is, it just doesn’t quite cut it, we’re happy with the layout having sailed on P&O Britannia in the past but in fairness Princess ships do have that edge over Britannia. We found the ship to be very busy, the staff work really hard but are just overrun by guests and given the poor performance of the medallion tech we really feel for them. It’s a shame you didn’t have the best experience but we’d highly recommend princess perhaps after sky has her refurb things might work better 🤞🏻🤞🏻 glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for commenting! The HoHo bus tickets can are for sale just outside the terminal gates or you can head down the marina area and they have a stand there and a stop city-sightseeing.com/en/70/stavanger/76/hop-on-hop-off-stavanger

which cruiseline and itinerary would you recommend the best one for Norwegian Fjords?

Ohh, that's a difficult one as it depends what type of cruise line would suit you, as they all tend to go there. Ideally look at ships with lots of outdoor space or a promenade deck so you can be out and enjoy the views. Larger ships are restricted, so if you want more of the scenic fjord sailing, look at the smaller ships and cruise lines. We've been there on P&O and Princess and there was not much between then and the ports were the same on both too.

Hi! Few options: 1)CPS - this is at the port, turn up at the terminal and they take your car, very easy, convenient and safe www.cruiseparking.co.uk 2) Sone hotels rent out their car parks to yourparkingspace.co.uk - you’ll find the Ibis carpark there for under £4 a day. A taxi from theee will be about £6. 3) Do a park, stay and cruise deal with a hotel. Holiday inn, Chilworth Manor and others offer this. Hope that helps

Have you done northern Norway? Any tender ports on your itinerary?

Hi! We’ve done a few ports at Norway over the years, how far north were you thinking? We’ve not been to Alta or Tromso yet, we’ve been over to Iceland that’s as far north as we’ve been. We have full vlogs of this cruise, also a Norwegian fjords cruise series on P&O Iona and Arcadia. The Arcadia cruise was the one we went to Norway and then over to Iceland Hope this helps!

@@CruiseMonkeys Yes, I meant Tromso and Honningsvag. It’s quite difficult to find cruises going that far. Not many.
