She looked beautiful because she was naturally so; but her dress was dreadful. Tackiest thing ever, even for the times. The only reason she managed to carry that dreadful giant merengue was because she was tall enough not to completely disappear in it. The designers failed tremendously with that dress. A wedding dress is supposed to look like a dress, not like the cake. First time I saw it I thought to myself wow, someone must have really hated her, if not the designer then whomever commissioned that thing.

And while dealing with the marriage, she took carry of her two children. That was the beginning of a lot of life work. Then she helped her organizations that she wanted and did help! She was a great lady and her adult two children still miss her a lot.

It was enough to know about what then Prince Charles was and maintaining his relationship with his current wife. So, the divorce happened so that back then Diana and Charles could free to go on with their individual lives. What a mess it was.. I have been close to divorces from friends and family members. Anyway, it was a big heart loss of the way Diana left world. It is a continued hear loss of Prince Phillip and of the Queen.😢😢 I have been to London, UK a few times and Paris, France as well. I have walked the the Palace and the other tour areas close to there. And I had been to the Diana memorial area by the bridge area of the street where she was involved in the crash with her wealthy boyfriend. I now continue to hope the sons and now their the King of England will continue to be well.

People talk so much nonsense about things that they do not know at all. There was never anything "dainty and soft" about Diana. She was 5 foot 10, very athletic and strong, went swimming every day that she could, walked briskly, moved briskly, and was not at all gentle in her affections. She wasn't gentle with her kids. She grabbed them, pulled them, put them where she wanted them to be. When she hugged them, it was a bone crushing hug that they could not escape from, even if they wanted to. And that kiss on Charles' cheek was not gentle. Why do people see what they imagine, instead of what really is?

She survived...without any hpspitalization...being seventy pounds underweight at one point. But her heart was soft and no, she was never too rough with her sons except for an occasional butt-smack.

He went on to say that he missed his mother's hugs,....and I suppose he did, because that was what he was used to. This behaviour on Diana's part was really unsuitable, and really intrusive. It was also deliberately devisive because the boys had two parents who both loved them. This is a woman using kids for self gratification, not mutual loving affection. Diana is on film grabbing a boy who has just given her flowers, hugging him in the way Harry described, crushing his face into her shoulder and bending his back backwards because she is tall, bends forward, and then hugs the child to her bent body. He tries to respond, but in the end is left staggering from the unexpected assault and clutching his neck. As I said previously, Diana is never gently encouraging. Her physical behaviour with her children is always VERY physical in a controlling sense. She doesn't gently lead or encourage. She simply grabs the child and puts it where she wants it. She also used her own children, and others that were small enough to pick up, as a buffer. She grabs children and holds them between her face and the press at an organised photo shoot. She does the same thing when meeting foreign dignitaries. Diana's admirers might say that it is so sweet, but the king and Queen of Malaysia don't look too impressed. When I say that she was not gentle with the children, I am not referring to whether she applied physical punishment. I am saying that she WAS NOT gentle.

And never have any of the children she hugged ever complained. Diana would stoop _down_ to hug and talk to children, not grab them from above, something more adults need to learn to do. Diana was tall, but was no Amazon giant and she was flat-chested and as scrawny as a flagpole, so her hugs were _not_ "suffocating." Stop trashing Diana and stop demonizing her.
