Her sister! Charles was pretty much being forced to marry Diana by his family. Camilla was shady because she knew the dynamic with Charles and Diana, but tried to act like a friend to Diana at first which was shady af, BUT the sister is the shadiest for not warning her own sister. She could have possibly prevented Diana from living such a miserable life.

Right! That everyone just watched him “flirt” and “court” a child 🤢. Even if it wasn’t officially if I was at those parties w my 16 yo sister and he kept showing up giving us both attention ... Nah. With him literally being heir to the throne and her having no real context to what being his girlfriend or wife would mean, she was thrown in the deep end of an unbalanced relationship. At least the adults he was courting knew what expectations would be if they married him. He prayed on her for naivety. He also knew he could use her as a front for his affair, because once she was locked into the public eye as fiancé, she wouldn’t be able to escape.

Yeah the royal family are famous for that, apparently they killed her in the end cos she was going to expose their connections to Epstein and was interviewing victims, its also gross how low the age of consent is in the UK, cos it was technically 'legal' what Charles did, but it shouldnt be.

What breaks my heart the most is Diana never got to see her sons grow up. She missed all the major events in their life. And she missed getting to become a grandmother. She would've been so happy to finally relax and spoil them rotten.

@@karisdietrich1964 I was actually going to say Diana would have loved Megan because they are similar and people hate on them for not following the royal way I also believe prince William and Harry do tell their children about Diana because sadly they were old to understand and remember so I know Camilla will never truly take Diana's place. It was also said the royal family hated Diana for being engaged to a man who wasn't white ( i believe this without a doubt) and the royals didn't want William and Harry around a difference culture with non white people plus I heard Diana was pregnant and your new FIL had said this and since they never examined Diana's body properly we only have the FIL word

Right! It was like as soon as they saw she was happy without them, they took it away ftom her just like that. She probably would have come out with more tea on the family and they didnt want that. Whatever it was they took a wonderful mother from her kids....their children and grandchildren. And a wonderful woman from the world. Soooo fkn sad! She is truly missed.

The fact that Charles once said that "whoever I choose to marry is going to have a jolly hard job, because they will always be in my shadow" But he rather became Diana's shadow when she was alive. I'm sure that irked him a bit.

I agree. And I think it's mostly due to William and Kate being very focused on obeying all the Royal rules and being in the Queen's good graces. Kate has never been in a massive scandal. And IMO they're boring. Harry & Meghan on the other hand....well we know the deal with them. They've made a name for themselves.

@ş ¿m? If Charles is made king, he will not abdicate the throne. His uncle abdicated in Dec 1936, after less than a year as king, even before having a coronation because they would not allow David Windsor who was named King Edward VIII to marry twice divorced american Wallis Simpson. That's how Elizabeth came into the line of succession, when the crown was passed to her Dad, who was next in line of succession, Berti. That whole abdication situation was embarrassing and distasteful to the royal family. Charles has his woman, nothing to stop him. He will not pass the crown unless he is on his death bed because it's dishonorable to do so....it's not their culture to pass it.

There's footage of Diana saying goodbye to Charles at the airport while crying her eyes out because of Camilla calling him the night before and people thought she's crying because she's gonna miss him. It's heartbreaking

You have to also remember that the uncle giving this advice was a well known womanizer even while he was married and his wife was also known for having affairs before she died. The royals for most of history have been untouchable due to the pedestal people place them on. Men can be wild bit women would be viewed as damaged goods. I'm happy things appear to be progressing.

So I’m 52, and during the 80s it was the whole world that loved Princess Di. I had my youngest child in the late evening of August 29th, 1997 and was still in the hospital when Diana died. I remember waking up and the nurse coming in my room and said “Did you hear?!” I was oblivious ... she quickly turned on the TV and I heard the news which was all over the television. I sobbed uncontrollably for several hours. It was like a family member died, that was how much we loved her. It was such a tragic end. I just wanted to share my story of hearing about it. 😢 Also, we truly hated Prince Charles, so the person who I think was the most fake was him. Because he faked caring for Princess Di their ENTIRE relationship. At the same time, blaming anyone is sort of irrelevant, if she didn’t marry him, she wouldn’t have a legacy in those 2 boys. ❤️

I remember being a child and being very aware of this woman before she passed, I grew up in a former British colony and everyone there loved her then and even more now. I have watched many documentaries and clips about this couple. I never had this thought before until I watched your video but denying the love Charles and Camilla had for each other changed the course of history. Once he couldn't marry her he picked Diana as the second. Poor Diana assumed she was first, but she was always second. She loved this guy or assumed that she could grow to love him and that was her undoing.

I think Cdynee, should also do history story time for children. Her demeanor would allow children to learn and sustain information about history. Something they may never have been able to do in these times we are living in now. Children that are already doing virtual learning maybe able to learn a little better, because she holds your attention. She could ask them to pick out things they are curious about, and then she could face time with the person that submitted that weeks selection. Also if she has enough time, she could do story time for kids that are not in elementary school yet. Now Morgan Freeman, the voiceover work he does he better lookout because here comes the blue eyed African American history telling Cydnee and she is boldly, gracefully with respect knocking on the doors to anybody that needs voiceover done and will keep the attention of anybody that watches her videos. Hey, these are my thoughts and I'm sticking to them. Great Job doing virtual history lesson. I think that she could give a lesson on why and when is Kwanzaa about for African Americans. Then in January, who was Martin Luther King, Who helped to get his Birthday become a federal holiday. And why did some states refused to honor this great man of color. And February whats the true story about Valentine's Day. And the reason we honor Washington and Lincoln on President's Day. How did the month become Black History week and then it was changed to Black History Month. I for one am waiting on the next history lesson.

True, but he could have been nicer. It seemed like he didn't try very hard to be kinder to Dianne and more discreet in his affair. Imagine the day before your fiancée leaves for a long trip and there you are sitting and talking when the phone suddenly rings and it's his mistress on the other end! Can you imagine what it felt like for him to start talking to her and ignoring Diana like she was even there? Rude and arrogant don't even begin to describe his actions. It was beyond selfish and really a very hurtful thing to do. No consideration for her feelings at all. It's like he just didn't give a damn about anything but Camilla. Not very prince like behavior. Just abominable.

@@jellyacc I think part of the big problem is judging past events using current lenses. 1. Diana was a child of divorce. so she was likely dealing with her own separation issues even before she met Charles 2.. Charles was previously dating her older sister. Most people will say sister code, but in their society it was perfectly OK to do that. and she went in knowing her role, and the perks that will come with that role 3. Yes, someone will say she was young. True, if that was the case, she had no business dating older men. but she did anyway. Her biggest undoing was to believe that she could change Charles. Charles was clear, he loved Camilla- he was marrying for duty. Diana did not believe this unfortunate truth 4. At that time, it was perfectly acceptable for the men to keep mistresses. Infact the silent rule was to get a mistress who was married. Everyone at the end of the day kept to their lane. Diana too, did have her string of affairs..... before she got divorced 5. Diana did an active PR campaign. and she would tip paparazzi of her whereabouts. She courted the publicity, loved the attention it gave her. sadly the same media robbed her of her joy. 6. Towards the end, she was paranoid and all because the same media she courted, gave her false stories about the Royal family. BBC have come out to apologise about their role in. fabricating documents that made Diana paranoid. 7. Part of the reason why the accident was fatal was they were not wearing seat belts. All said and done, May she keep resting in Peace. May the Queen also rest in peace.

I was so heartbroken when she passed and will never forget it. I think I was the first person in the United States to hear of her death. Lol! I was 18 yrs old & remember it was a Saturday night and I couldn’t sleep for nothing! I finally sat up in bed & turned my TV on to find a late TV show or movie on. It was about 2:30AM. I turned to CNN and was watching that when they interrupted the show & said they had just received correspondence that Diana was in a very bad wreck in Paris and they would keep us updated. So I breathed a sigh of relief and said .. “Ok good! She’s still alive. It wasn’t a fatal wreck. So she’ll be fine.” I called my boyfriend & woke him up to talk. And we had been talking about an hour ... it was now about 3:30AM ... when CNN interrupted their show again, but announced this time that she was dead. I literally have our the biggest gasp! I ran down the hall and woke my mom up and told her. Her & my dad turned on their TV and the rest is history. Very sad day when we lost Diana. 😢❤️

It's been said that they royal family pressured Camilla to marry, and to do it so Charles would move on because they would never allow him to marry her, and they would consider it a great personal favor to the crown from her family, gave a nice wedding gift as well. 9:44 - it sounds like you’re talking about the prefrontal cortex. Yes, it’s not fully developed until you’re at least 25. It’s responsible for things like impulse control... among other things which I can’t remember right off the top of my head

Camilla loved Charles, and was sick knowing they could not be together officially, but still took Charles' happiness as her priority. As women often do, she sacrificed her own feelings to make sure Charles was getting what he needed from this public stand in Diana (Camilla's view, not mine). Camilla was all about Charles and Diana was too young to get it in the beginning, but when she did that's when their lives took a turn for the worst because Diana was then no longer the good little placeholder wife they wanted her to be, she was a whole problem!

If it had been an older woman with some experience of the world then she may have understood and walked into the marriage with her eyes open. But they dragged into their misery a girl without life experience with all her hopes and dreams and her entire life ahead of her. Their intention was for a puppet and Diana becoming a problem with age and experience because she's flesh and blood and not an inanimate object is their own fault

I was young when the Princess passed, but old enjoying to stay up until the wee hours of the morning to record the funeral on VHS. I’m dating myself here. He he. Princess Diana dying is one of my earliest memories. I was about 4 when it happened, and I didn't know anything about her other than that she was a princess, and she was dead, and everyone was really sad about it. Even though it happened during my lifetime, I've never known her other than as a late figure. It's kind of weird to learn more and more about it as I get older and develop more context around my early childhood memories of the event.

My kids would say the same!!! I thought I wasn't going to make it at work that day. Needless to say I was NOT the only one late with puffy eyes and no make up. One of the saddest events in history. I can't believe how cold hearted the royal family still are. So cruel to Megan after all that Diana endued to show them a humane way to treat people. She was literally paving the way for her daughter-in-law but it was in vain. 💔😢😭

I am a huge fan of Princess Diana, I named one of my cats Princess, and her daughter Diana. I still remember I was sweeping the living room floor listening to music when the news broke that she was dead. My roommate and I sat on the coffee table and started to cry.. she was such a hero. So kind.

When she died I remember everyone saying she was killed. The queen had a order/law in place that the ambulance couldn’t go over 10mph/16kmh. If you saw the interviews with the ems workers you would see how upsetting that order was because she died on the way to the hospital
