The Princess of Wales met Sir Paul McCartney and Tracey Emin as she re-opened the National Portrait Gallery following its three-year, £41.3 million refurbishment. Kate, who is patron of the gallery, officially opened its doors ahead of its re-opening to members of the public later this week.

Well I guess James is entitled to point out that strictly speaking she isn't called Princess Catherine....he's not forcing the original commenter to not use that title, simply (I guess politely) calling her attention to the error. She is heavily filtered in these videos as well as being in flattering lighting. All her press pics are photoshopped. If you’ve seen pics in daylight from an outlet the RF doesn’t have in their pocket, she looks much older than her age.

Oh gawd. Yes, Catherine is great; I adore her too. It's perfect, what you said about "no fuss, no 'look at me'", etc. And the visiting with mothers and children with a natural empathy and interest. She seems truly kind and talented too! Using her Royal privileges to do good and not being too greedy. But do you live in a country without a monarchy? Those moments of the Princess with Sir Paul really made my day. I hope somehow I can get to meet them! Sometimes I worry that only other musicians can understand me lol .. I bet Sir Paul would understand me so easily and then I wouldn't be such an outsider all the time

I still remember the first time I laid eyes on Paul [in Life magazine, just prior to Ed Sullivan]. And after all these decades, my reaction to him is still one of excitement. Crazy!!

She is not princess kate. Only a child or grandchild of monarch is entitled to use prince or princess before their name. As she is not a blood royal and only married into family she is not permitted to do so She is HRH catherine the princess of wales not princess catherine
