You have no idea how they neglect their citizens and what struggle the general public lives through. I'm married to a Jordanian and lived there for a few years and it was astounding how neglected the place was. In their cities they have garbage piles near the city centres. They literally have no system for waste management. At least not an implemented one. Tiny country smaller than some cities in the world. It' not hard to fix the place truly develop it if the king really cared. But they are so detached from the lives and problems of the general public. These girls qualify on legacy seats. There is no recognition of merit there in any department, it's about which family name/tribe you are from and that's it.. Another intersting thing was that Jordan had no middle class. There is the elite and there is the rest of the country. Literacy rate is above 90%, but the lack of opportunity is painful to watch. And the Jordanian currency's value is higher than the US dollar to ensure people live hand to mouth and never get the chance to demand change or even develop awareness of the difference between real democracy and this kind of controlled monarchy based artificial one.
