Linda is actually OK as Neo-Queen Serenity. While the performance is still a little off, she is much more convincing as a mature queen rather than a goofy teenager. This is why I feel bad for Linda. She isn't a terrible actress. She was just miscast and poorly directed.

Kotono is so pretty, hasn't aged at all. So happy she reprised her role ❤️

I feel so bad for all the flack Linda gets. I mean, listen to the scene where Neo Queen Serenity is begging Rini to wake up. Yeah, her voice is still too deep for the role but she also sounds mature and wise like the character should be. She is a good actress. She was just a victim of miscasting and poor direction.

Terri was really, really good when she voiced Serenity, whether as the Princess or the Queen. She did regal and calm very well, and she managed to make Princess Serena/Serenity sound more youthful, and Neo-Queen Serenity sound older and more wise and maternal. Linda was actually not bad at all as Princess Serenity! When she didn't have to push her voice unnaturally high and squawky to imitate Terri, she actually wasn't too shabby. That said, I do think her voice is better suited to Neo-Queen Serenity than Princess Serenity; she sounds a little too old and mature here to be the teenage Princess, but the voice she uses would be absolutely perfect for Neo-Queen Serenity. Stephanie was really solid in both roles. And I think she was great as Usagi, too.

I barely noticed any differences in Kae in Kotono. Wow.

Kotono mitsuishi did really great as princess serenity in sailor moon and in sailor moon crystal. Kae araki also did a good job as princess serenity in sailor moon too. Terri hawkes did really great as princess serena from the dic dub version of sailor moon. She did great as both the clumsy serena and as princess serena too. Linda ballantyne also did a great job as princess serena in the cloverway dub from the fourth season. Stephanie was also good as princess serenity in the viz dub.

If anything, Linda did a kickazz job as Princess Serenity...I really wish she could've done her own interpretation of Usagi, perhaps it would've recieved less criticism and more positive feedback

Linda is cool, especially in the SuperS episode with the Dead Moon Circus and Hawkseye, when Rini and Sammy eat all the lemon pie, when first she comes in from the rain and is so cheery, and smells the pie baking like a bloodhound, but screeches and panics, and has a tantrum and hissy fit and conniption all at once, so she even yells back at her mom, then storms out the door, right into the rainstorm, then comes right back in to get with some little "hff's" her umbrella, and finally when is at the cafe with the Scouts she has a case of the "Monkey Heaves" until Amy reassures her, that means Linda had to express nearly 20 different emotions in rapid fire, so how many "takes" did this take, was it several hours, and then edit it together, along with the rest of the cast, and music and sound effects, this was a complicated procedure, and was one of Linda's best scenes ever.

Currently, Stephanie takes the cake by far. She does such a great job at catputing Usagi's animated behavior and her tone and pitch are very similar to Kotono's deliverance. For the DIC dub, Kerry was great. Her voice showed a sense of responsibility and weight that Sereena carries on her shoulders. Linda goes a step further and shows the maturity of Sereena... Accepting Rini, accepting being a princess, accepting being a Sailor guardian, accepting the good with the bad. You can tell she's been through a lot and the voice actor let that shine through. Good Job to ALL OF THEM and thank you for being such an influence.

I kind of knew Kotono Mitsuishi whould voice Boa Hancock in One Piece because as much as I love One Piece and Toei. I find it that Toei wants to put their big name voice actor and actress stars in there and One Piece is basically one big Gulliver Boy and Mashin Eiyuden Wataru reunion but in a good way.

They should have kept Terri. Shes great

After watching the uncensored, subtitled version, it killed the Dic dub for me. They (the English voice actors) just sounded so unreal. "Serena" sounded like a middle aged woman. Stephanie is amazing and she slayed it big time. The new actors for Viz did an amazing job. I still love the Japanese voice actors the best but Viz did a great job.

Linda's voice is just wayyyyy too deep for either Sailor Moon or Princess Serenity. She could have been a good Jupiter if Susan couldn't return, but she just sounds too rough and boyish for either Sailor Moon voice.

Of all the three, I like Hawkes most of all, as she distinguishes the princess form by how she talks and NOT by changing her vocal tone too much. I think both Ballyntine and Sheh do better jobs at voicing the royal versions of their characters than they do as Sailor Moon. Ballyntine does come across as too old, though, and Sheh comes across as too young. My bigger problem with Sheh's performance is when she uses her Usagi voice in Princess Serenity mode, it comes across as grating. For instance, when she started to fight back against Beryl, she started using that fake Usagi voice, undermining the actual animation. Had she used her Serenity voice as Usagi, I could probably tolerate more episodes.

Both Linda and Stephanie are great at Serenity, Linda plays the wise and powerful greatly, while Stephanie played the graceful and princess role wonderfully. Terri? It didn't feel like she was taking it seriously, Linda is deserves more praise than her.

Tracy, Terri, Linda and Stephanie were perfect for the Sailor Moon role. It's rude to pity them with nonsense. All are simply doing their best. Shows. Out there fans pity both versions for poor directors and directions. They bring such lively cheerfulness in Usagi (DiC Serena)/Sailor Moon.

I loved Kotono Mitsuishi in the subbed version! Her voice was perfect for princess Serenity and queen Serenity! She sounded perfectly young and mature. I give her props! She was great. I preferred her over the other two. She just sounded so much better as Princess Serenity and Queen Serenity. Terri Hawkes sounded great as the younger Serenity but not as good as Queen Serenity. Her voice didn't sound very mature. Linda Ballantyne sounded good as a mature Queen Serenity, but not as a young princess Serenity. She always sounded so mature when being princess Serena. Stephanie Sheh was good in my opinion as a young Serenity. The fighting voice wasn't terrible but it wasn't good in my opinion. As Queen Serenity she didn't sound very mature.
